Aoa everyone.

Need suggestions for a cell phone in 50k budget for a gift to my sister.

She is currently using Huawei Mate 10 Lite.

I was considering below options:

1) Infinix Note 12 G96 (8/128)
2) Realme RM-9i (discontinued, but I hope to get lucky if someone has a box packed piece?)
3) Redmi Note 11

I have no experience with Vivo & Oppo so didn’t consider those.

Kindly help me as I need to buy it before 6th Jan, 2023.

Wouldn't recommend any Xiaomi device made after 2019 the specs are good but software is buggy and high probability of phone (mainboard soldering issue) to die right after warranty period runs out.

Vivo, realme, oppo, oneplus and iqoo are subbrands of BBK electronics. The software stability is unparalleled.

Even a Vivo Y12T (very basic phone) in my home runs flawlessly with less lags than my Xiaomi phones (Poco X3 and M3) and better battery life & less heating.

Why don't you go for Samsung like Samsung Galaxy F42 5G, A bit low in specs, But will surely last longer. We have Samsung phone in home working flawlessly since 2019.

And yes @usman_arooq2 brother is absolutely right. Xiaomi or you may say MIUI is full of bugs...

I checked the specs of Samsung Galaxy F42 & it seems a good phone but I think it has been discontinued as I couldn’t find it on online selling websites and not even on OLX.

If you know someone who has a sealed box and willing to sell it, please let me know.

Yes, and it's a last year phone, midrangers usually go out of production in 6 months and not available beyond 9 months.

Before PTA approval was a thing samsung models not launched here were available box packed as gray imports but not anymore.

I have used in my family. But it was tecno spark 4. And not at all satisfied but company might have improved after it

If you are a bit on computer side you can uninstall bloatware using adb. If you want then i can share here the process...

On Android 11 and above devices, you don't need to connect to a PC just a wifi connection is needed

1. Enable developer options
2. Download and install "shizuku" apk from github
3. Install icebox app freezer from google playstore
4. Pair shizuku (instructions are in app, it uses wireless debugging)
5. Open icebox, allow shizuku access,
   tap on apps on bottom to reveal list of apps on your phone, then tap on individual apps u want to disable and select freeze.

Don't disable mandatory system apps or you may end up in a bootloop and you'll have to factory reset your phone from recovery menu.

Bloatware preinstalled apps you don't need can be disabled safely e.g. daraz, facebook (including facebook installer and app mananger), flight and booking apps etc. You can also search for ad providers for your phone on google to check which ones are safe to disable e.g. MSA can be disabled on xiaomi phones.

I believe it will work but i don't suggest to use any third party apps, we can do it directly without using any app through following method.

1. Connect ADB Learn here
2. Type this to uninstall the app
   adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0

*In place of you need to enter the package name that you want to uninstall like com.abc.xyz

You can get all of them using the following command
adb shell pm list packages -f
