Budget = 35k

bro in 35k u will get locked iphone 4 which can be used with gevey sim which is buggy ....so ur best buy in 35 k is multimedia powerhouse SGS followed by desire which has smaller screen medicore camera and low multimedia performance .....and as for now just forget about windows mobiles stay away from them they aint worth it untill nokia comes up with them...

I am facing two problems
1. Need a player which also show subs, I watch alot of Japanese cartoons
Now transferred some 720p mkv videos, phone plays it fine but without subs
Is there any software or codex for this?

1. My notification ringtone after sometimes automatically changes to a alarm tone and it keeps on ringing until I cancel the SMS or reply it :-\
   What could be the problem?

just download mvideoplayer from market and u will forget the default player pretty soon ...

notification ringtone thinggy is wierd try to change the tone or move the tone to internal memory ... also reset the fone maybe it works ...

watching 720p mkvs on SGS is marvelous experince and i am also got addicted to it ..

For internet and work i'll say HTC Desire is best.Browser built on a Taiwanese firm.HTC internet experience is still unmatched.
For Apps and Multimedia,i'll say Probably iPhone 4 or any HTC Windows 7 Phone.Dont neglect WP7 phones they are the future phones.I have one and i know everything about it.IN SHORT,
HTC Desire =(Phone of the Year 2010) (Unmatched web browsing+Best UI).
iPhone 4 =(Best Phone for Multimedia and APPS.)
HTC WP7 =(Smoothest overall experience+great built qualities+Best OS in my opinion.WP7 has ease of access and productivity).

their Battery life Sucks
if u are looking for internet usage
Go for SGS I9000 am using it easily gives 20 hours plus usage with wifi on almost 6 to 7 hours
IPhone is a good option
though try looking for something newer like
Desire S or NExus S
Don't go for WP7 they have only around 20,000 apps, wait for nokia to release WM7 phones, then the market will be full of apps

Samsung Galaxy S: A ALL rounder .Multimedia,App ,browsing powerhouse
HTC desire S:Its Software experience cant be matched.The HTC sense is superb to say atleast.
IPhone 4:It cant even handle proper video files.So whats the use of HD when it cant play
DIVX,XVID and mkv files.I had said its only for childish apps.
Ignore WM7 until nokia touches that.

Dont go for iphone 4.Iphone 5 is releasing in september and after that your 40k worth iphone will be outdated so easily.So i suggest you to try HTC desire S and Samsung galaxy s.both are superb phones and better than Iphone.Or if you want WM7 then HD7 will be good.

gevey sim has known signal issues and once signal gone u have to repeat the process of unlocking ......and i repeat stay away from wm7 ...just listen what everybody is telling ....only nokia can help it....
