my Xperia Neo V's display is not so bright, what can i do to increase it? i have already set the brighness to full

You should respring your device. Go to Settings > General > International > Language > change the language to a primary language which you can understand. The device will respring and hopefully the problem will be solved, you can change back the language.

Did you install SemiTether package? I guess NO. Ok do this.

Install this source :-

Open the source, install this package SemiTether, after installing open this app from homescreen and close it. Now you can switch on cell phone after turning off but you ll have to boot tethered to use jailbreak apps.

Its cuz of Sony Bravia Engine. The display maxes out when you watch media on screen.

Sony has locked its brightness to 40% to get full brightness you have to root your phone and then download this app from market

actually i was impressed with the display of xperia s and its camera, otherwise I have almost finalized galaxy nexus but m only hesitant because of its camera.

I dont know what the hell is wrong with peshawar market, the prices here are always higher than the online sites, I asked in a few shops here, SII price was around 44k, and could not even find galaxy nexus.

@heroofdikhan- you may have better idea of its price, koi galaxy nexus find kar ke do na bhai....ya set charger in mint condition ho tu wo bi batao.

Both are selling as future proof right now. But Galaxy Nexus is prone to get updates as they come.

i have hands on experience Xperia S believe me its not worth buying those capacitive buttons are hard to use and camera is ok and performance is not as good as it has to be, But S2 or Galaxy nexus which ever fall into your budget.
