Thank you for your input.

I have short listed but not limited myself to s3 or nexus. the limitation is only my budget which is around 40k and I am looking for a good piece in this price range which I could use for extended period of time and definitely no regret after purchase therefore looking for expert advice.

so far I got recommendation for nexus 4 based on price and spec as someone said value of money.

I have about 02 more days to finalize and am open for valuable recommendations/ advises from you all.

i purchased s3 and then i saled it out in one month with big loss , because of cheap plastic covering look and battery status .

Nexus 4 definitely. Stock Android, quick updates, 2GB RAM. Only problem is no expandable storage.

i purchased something new yesterday other than these brands which you mentioned , i will keep you posted , first let me know whether i succeeded or not for the sake of quality wise smartphones available in market . i will make a thread tomorrow and will post pics and will send you link .so that you will get what you want other than these so called high brand smartphones .

yeah i tell you , this is korean pantech vega r3 , and superb superb phone , more than that stupid samsung galaxy s3 .but yaar main thread shayad abhi nahi bana raha , aj kal sirf raat ko vo bhi bari mushkil say time mil raha hai , busy in study and job .

Got my iPhone 5 as a gift from Norway. It was locked to Tele2 and no other sim worked.
Went to shops and they told me it would cost 12,000-16,000RS-/ to unlock it. They buy the codes online and they pay wayy less than the prices i got told.
Went to Tele2's FaceBook page and asked them nicely to unlock it for Me and voila 3 days later it got unlocked through iTunes!
Next time, ask the company it is locked to, before paying these ripoffs.


Now, I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in Grey. It has no scratches anywhere, accessories haven't been opened yet, warranty+receipt is coming with it, including the box. How much will that fetch me in the open market? will be delighted to read replies!

Not sure, bought it from Selecto mobile, but it has a Warranty card with Samsung logo on it. Will post a picture=)

Omg yess!=) The phone doesn't even have 1 scratch, except 1 little nick near the camera, hard to see because of the grey colour.

I would love to buy a phone with our camera if it's cheaper then the original version, as I don't use mobile camera much. Htc one s takes great picture too. I haven't compared side by side both of them but one x result looks grainy too me.

Yes it does not have mmc slot, 32gb nexus might come soon will replace 16gb. If you don't mind great chinese phone then take a look on Xiaomi MI-2 adn Xiaomi MI-2s phones.

Between these two n4 and Xiaomi MI-2s I will leave n4 and take Xiaomi.

Since there is not much price difference between S3 and nexus4.
I will take none of them. I have many concerns with n4 and few with S3.

If you want new phone around 40k you can get following.

Nexus 4
Xiaomi MI-2
Xiaomi MI-2 s
Samsung S3
HTC One X

Dual cores phones

Sony Xperia V
Sony Xperia S
Sony Xperia T
Sony Xperia Ion
HTC One S

If you are considering a used or slight used new phone in that range you can get more options like

Samsung Note 1
few of the above mentioned phones in low prices

unbeleivable that some1 asking you so much just to unlock the handset . well congratz , you got that phone which has the jumbo battery . compete all android of long battery life smartphones
