These days, I'm seeing lots of Pantech brand phones. Some say it's Korean and some say is from USA but specification wise they are very high end devices but their prices are very cheap. Used 2 Pantech phones and they're reliable

Bro I've had a very bad experience with HTC amaze. They have faulty motherboard that overheats and forces restart phone and loop continues until battery is removed. Plus it's front camera gets blur and it's not a reliable phone unless you get it repaired under warranty.

Sensation was a good phone but now with old firmware...

S2 is best among your choices

Issues i face frequently:

> shut down randomly no matter if the battery is at 90%
> never shut down when i use it during charging
> after shut down, it display some sort of strange lines on the screen

I searched alot on internet but couldn't find out if the issue is with software or a battery problem and whether it is solvable or not.

Could somebody help me out or recommend a reliable person/shop in mobile markets like sareena or saddar for the repair (if needed)?

Bro i think it's a battery issue.
Battery terminal might have been losing contact with it's circuit. Are you sure your phone is never opened or repaired?

Jailbreak does have after effects like my ipod crashed and wont turn on at any cost,after showing to many guys ended up updating firmware and was working 100% fine

I got rid of it instead of repairing

bro i am not sure about it whthere the phone is repaired or not... i purchased it 2nd hand from a pakgamer member for Rs 16,000... sad to see double faces guy who look really mature and sensible but deceive other for the sake of money. I faced the problem within hours of purchase but he denied that there was no such fault in the phone whatsoever.

The issue is more or less the same you are decribing that happend with your iphone 4. I wanted to sale it without telling his fault to shopkeeper... mgr zameer ijazat nahi dy raha.

yep bro the phone is jail break.. should i update its firmware to 6.1? i am really not sure its a software issue... it seems a hardware problem to me... experts like you can tell better. please advice. I am really dissapointed and seems like i have just lost my hard earned money.

@sajid20 bhai yes it's repairable but it'll surely effect the resale of your phone. Loss to hoga but isko loss mat samajhna. Allah par bharosa karen insha Allah iska ajar milegi.

Ma apko apni misaal deta hu ma ne 7,000 loss kia tha liken Allah ka karna aisa k uski baad ma ne HTC one V lia tha at 15,000/- just 1 month used with all accessories and us waqt new bhi 27,500 ka tha....

I'm sure apko bhi insha Allah ajar milega

Currently meri suggestion ye ha k ap isko market me repairing shops me check karwana. Software issue hua to repair ho jayega but i personally don't think it's software issue. Agar hardware issue hua to jitne repair charges honge ap utnay loss pe nikaal dena set most probably to repair men hi. Agar set rakhna ha ziada arsa to beshak repair karwa len

Sorry for being offtopic but can anybody guide me about how to identify if a set is original or a korean version. For example if i m buying a Samsung Galaxy S3, then how i woyld know that the set is original S3 or a Korean clone version. Please help. Thanks!
