well i dont agree with posters who says central radiator system are not efficient, they need to be properly sized for space. in fact the radiator based systems are best for safety and effciency. If you go for advanced Condenser combi boiler, they use extermely less gas and are very effcient. They can also provide hot water on demand - no need to use gas and store water in age old geasers!
Gas heaters are waste of energy, plus the carbon mono oxide is not healthy and cause accidents. In Punjab and Sidh, they may not need central heating all around the year, but they should go high efficiency boilers for water heating atleast.
the best boilers i have come across are from Germany, so go for these if you can. Vailant is best option.
We can also save energy by insulating our houses - mostly are built in Pakistan without much thinking about these much needed in our extreme conditions hot or cold.
