Ceramic window film in lahore

Recommendations for ceramic window film for cars in Lahore? Mainly interested in heat and UV blocking, don't want to tint the windows so looking for film with 70-80% visible light transmission, no color/tint, non-reflective.

Protek offers 3M crystalline but its not ceramic and quite expensive. Solar screen offers X series but no idea if its actually ceramic as its their own brand, not some internationally recognized film.

I have recently installed Solar Screen z8 clear tints on my car.
It is ceramic coated and the results are good.
There is atleast 50% reduction in heat within cabin and the sun doesnt bite the skin plus the AC performance has improved marginally.

X-series is ceramic, Z series is metallic (i think)...are you sure you got Z?

If you are getting solar screen - make sure they guarantee dust free installation. I got it installed from their pindi outlet but my front screen is full of dust which makes it very annoying

The film being thick takes about 1 week to clear out the small bubbles.

X series tints have a limited life and their heat rejection property decreases with time but have higher heat rejection.

Z series are permanent and their heat rejection does not decrease, that is why it is expensive too.

My apologies z series are metallic and not ceramic.

I got z8 because it is the most transparent.
X series they have are slightly darker.

does z8 have shiny/mirror-like look on the exterior? I read that metallic tint affects gps/mobile phone signals, your experience?

All my cars I keep, I get them Z series metallic from Solar Screen. No issue with mobile signals and makes a lot of difference, specially in smaller cars. The bubbles for first two weeks are highly annoying but they go away with sunlight. Highly recommended

Yes z8 gives a yellowish shine on the exterior when looked at from certain angles.

You also see a slight change of colours from inside and when driving you get a greenish purplish hue under certain light conditions during the day.

But night time vision is excellent and I havnt encountered mobile signals issue.

The heat rejection I have experienced is totally worth every penny.
Getting my other car tinted next month also.

How would you compare these to 3m crystalline?

Have a limited experience with 3M installed in my colleagues car and the next day I got these installed I compared the result and frankly I could not tell the difference. Maybe they offer better rejection and for more time as duration of heat rejection is limited for these tints. 8 hours in case of Solar screen.

Heres how I would review them.
My daily travelling is east to west in the afternoon and the sun shines through the windshield through out my journey of around 20 kms.
Before these tints AC had to be atleast 50% speed and my lower body which had continuous exposure to sun used to burn and I could feel my clothes getting hot and hotter.

Now AC runs good at 25% speed and the body does not burn.
It feels warm but not hot or burning.

Not at all. It's absolutely see through. You can't even tell if it has any sorta paper on it

The last car I got done was my Pixis 2018 I think 2 or 3 months back by Solar Screen guys here in Lahore near Saddar. As my front screen could not be done due to multiple sensors, radar, etags and indash cam etc, one 4 doors and boot were done...and if my memory doesn't ditch me, I thinki paid 9500
