I am from lahore and as you all can see this is my first thread so @ mods:- "Please move it to correct sction"
I have a CG 125 1985 model.. Its basically my father's and i got it when i got admission in university... It was in, you can say very bad condition but all the parts were 100 % genuine except for the meter as it wasn't used very much... As i do a job myself so money wasn't issue for me, the only problem was time which i didn't had very much.. so instead of restoration into origional, i modified it tried to into the 2009 model... some alteration was done to put the new tank and tappay on this one.. As it was the first experience for me, neither i was on Pw at that time so i totally ruined its beauty which i realized some time after modification..
Now, I have summer holidays + my job timings are shorter now, i want to restore it completely to the origional thing... For which i need help from you people.. I really don't know any mechanics in lahore.. so far my experience is bad with everyone of them..
1st thing:- I need a good mechanic... the best one (money being out of question) .. I need to replace the cam gharari mechanics use that term as it is giving a horrible sound.. Engine is perfect as when i got it, i didn't had any idea of maintainence so i burnt the ring piston as i didn't change oil at proper time... After the repair,i change it after every 800 Kms max..
2nd thing:- A good Painter... need to get the origional tank dented and painted... + i want to dis assemble whole of the bike and them reassemble it after getting the frame painted. As in this process, i can replace the parts that need to be replaced...
3rd thing.. A good electrician... need to get the coils winded or somthing.. mechanics say that it is working on 6 Volts thats why the headlight and charging of battery is not proper...
I guess that is all... Please i need ur sugesstions as i am a noob and can't do it without ur support... Specialists like Sir Imran Bhatti are required ** Sorry i didn't comment but i really like ur bike project Imran Bhai ***..
