I got stopped twice on my YBR 125G today between 1-2 PM. Traffic was low. Never happened in my life.
They initially took my NIC and said I will have to somewhere else to pay challan and then I will get it back. But I said I will pay challan here. Reason was that my bike does not have number on front. I do have plate on side of front tyre.
They said challan will be 1000, then said they can do it for 500 (bribe), which I refused and paid 1020.
Then I got stopped again after a few stops, and I told them I already got a challan and they let me go without asking anything or seeing the challan.
I found this experience very weird because I have mirrors, helmet, etc. And I was using turn signals both time when taking left.
Is this legit? Should I put a number plate on front? Karachi if that matters.
