Challan: Original ICT License Plates

Recently I have heard that Islamabad traffic police has started another campaign against people who are driving vehicles with custom ICT license plates. Anyone know about it?

when they run short of challans they can even challan on removable shades/high beams/seat belt etc

Last month a traffic inspector stopped me at Aabpara and told me to get new plates made for my car.
According to him the font used for my plates was not a proper font. :S
He didnt even inquire about where the original plates are?

Plates should be in proper form prescribed by them. They can even challan you for not having radio license with you. Insurance is must for every car too.. Thirdly, 5 person in Mehran is also over loading !!!!!

Anyways I would have loved to put the original plates but the paint quality of the plates issued for Islamabad registered vehicles is so pathetic that I was left with no other choice.
The plates issued to the owners of Punjab registered vehicles is of very good quality.

yea i've also heared this from my brother.. wen u come towards isb on isb highway, there's a big board placed on green belt right next to the faizabad police check post regarding number plates but still i didnt even bother to read it

dosent say anything in peshawar ! i spend 2 months without front number plate ! no one stoped me ! recently made a custom one

excise ppl gave only one plate to my bro n tell to place it in the trunk n make custom ones from market but I have asked him to go after eid (he lives in islo) n check it up as It should be two in number.
I have got SG series number and they have given 30th december for collection of book.

A policeman is someone who uses his powers without putting logic into it and it is the issue 100% of the times, especially with traffic police. Radio license??? They can fine you for anything. There is the last line describing, "any other thing which has not been described in the above". I have had two incidents where the traffic guy couldn't prove his point at all so he resorted to the said clause.

i gues you can get the orignal ones repainted, keeping the goverment stamps and marks orignal,

Wen you are literate person and you avoid such laws what do u expect from illeterate people.

PS: im sorry if u felt ofended, but is tarah is mulk ka kch hona b nae hai, bs yeh khushi kerna Pakistani army got a gold metal in the cambilion thingy, where as koi teer nae mara hamari army ne, that gold medal was one out of 6 Six gold medals!!!!!

Lol +1. Isb is much more decent then our ugly green and white cheap looking plate combo! Isb`s series are much better too.

But what harm would it do if they start painting them with some good quality paint so that the paint doesnot wears off that early?
