No doubt Alsvin looks great, I have seen a few on the road (all in white) and looks very elegant.

Top of the line
Yaris 1.5 Ativ X CVT = 2,999,000
Alsvin Lumiere = 2,650,000
Price Difference = 349,000

Cheaper AutoYaris 1.3 CVT = 2,689,000
Alsvin Comfort = 2,450,000
Price Difference = 239,000

Cheapest ManualYaris = 2,509,000
Alsvin = 2,199,000
Price Difference = 310,000

That difference is still more than the looters' "own". But as I said before, not worth paying own on Alsvin (or any car).

It's not reasonably priced but so isn't Yaris. Comparative Yaris model 1.5 A/T is 3million so there is around 400K-500K is too much, we rather use it to upgrade other car to MG or some other SUV. The only main downside in alsvin is lack of traction control and hill assist, but then again, this car will only be used in the city so that's fine for us as well.

Yes obviously your money, your choice, and Yaris costs more. About "own" well if you pay you'll contribute to keeping the mafia afloat that delays so many genuine buyers' car. I know one customer doesn't make a difference, but at least one should not contribute to the crime/extortion.

And Yaris 1.3 Ativ has reasonable features, good value for money. It'll still be more than Alsvin (plus own) but closer. Plus its Yaris, and from Toyota.

The price of yaris as compared to other markets is reasonable with an approx increase of 15-20% and on avg Alsvin price has 35-45% increase.

I totally agree. If Alsvin is not comparable to Yaris anywhere in the world, then why should it be different in our market. It's the same Yaris and the same Alsvin. And customers should keep this in mind when considering Alsvin.

For true comparison, compare to an equally decorated Yaris... Yaris is not bad at-all, specially at night, Yaris has the most beautiful rear LED, no city, Alsvin can be compared to it..

Then again, Alsvin ka speedometer kitna ghatya sa hay, black and white like united motorcycle, Yaris hay the true colored MID... koi muqabla nahi hay... Yaris is Leaps Ahead

Thats just toooooo HOT to handle.....wow......an all stock car looking so great. The front head lamps are to die for. I think Alsvin has the best looks out of yaris city alsvin.

Lets hope the engine is reliable as well.

The new grey color looks promising too.

I have only seen it in white on the roads. Black and grey look way better than white Alsvin.

Grey was introduced in Karavaan before Alsvin launch.

I'm not sure if its officially offered in grey or not. I too have seen the first one in grey.

Listed colors are blue, black, White and Silver

Have spotted more whites, silvers, blue, black even less.

I see several old Japanese Hatch owners dreaming to sell their cars, add a couple of bucks more and downgrade to a chinese sedan... My Experience; would be selling the chinese sedan a year later and adding money to return to Japanese used Hatchback

People coming from more than five year used Pakistani Hatchbacks will love the chinese sedan...

Brother buy a second hand vehicle for the time being.. book one on partial payment.. and sell this one near delivery time/final payment.

Or book Yaris base variant.. you will get delivery in less than 60 days..sell it afterwards if you so much want an alsvin....

And it's not just the own... you would be paying 1 lac fine to Excise Dept on top of registration/transfer cost as well.

Think aroumd 300-400K extra... and then decide.

Is it worth it... You will easily get a very good Civic or Altis in this price... and they are way superior and reliable in my opinion.

Moreover you would be second owner... not first owner...

But will never buy one currently.. lol...

Need a reliable ride...Honda, Toyota even Suzuki Any day... Have had them all... despite all the pluses and minuses.. and extensive abuse by the big three... I had peace of mind and none of them have let me down.. wishlist kay ilawa

7th gen City is good looking, Alsvin is also very nice.

Seeing more and more alsvins on roads these days in sialkot which i didnt expect to be honest. Sad thing though is that i met a couple of them owners and they bought their alsvin on own.

White looks the least attractive color in alsvin and black looks the best , silver has the best paint finish quality for some reason. White one looks used.
