How about 0 APR financing option. In US where consumer rights are very strong, established brands offer 72 months zero % APR options. Why can't they do something like this in Pakistan like Ever?

1- PKR local currency volatility
2- low sale (in number of volumes) in a fiscal year as compared to USA
same is available in bikes in Pak from 12-18 months with 0% mark-up (12 months for Pak Suzuki Bikes and upto 18 months by various banks credit card holders schemes etc)

Guys dont underestimate the auto manufacturing of china in 2020. Just get a rough idea from this video about Chinese stakes in major auto manufacturers around the world. If this continues then china might become the largest global auto manufacturing country in the future.

The CEO of master motors mentioned that they will be exporting pakistan made, that requires conformant with global standards which means that alsvin might have same build quality as yaris/city if not better

Well , FOG Lights are not and never integrated in the headlights. As per global lighting standard both Federal motors vehicle US as well as European standard for lighting, SAE, FOG lights are separate lights and MUST be installed BELOW the headlights elevation on road going passenger vehicles . I mean there is clear cut specifications with maximum and minimum distance requirements from ground surface as well as the distance between headlights and fog lights.

"FOG BEATING HEADLIGHTS " is just a marketing gimmick and advertisement of headlights BUT headlights cant function as fog lights.

Anyways was just clarifying the confusion on basis of information I know.

In my humble opinion this car and other sedans will create a new class above 22-23 lac. In coming days yaris will go up, coming generation of city will as well as alsvin together create a new compact sedan class in this range of 23-30 lac. Whereas picanto and cultus will lead the hatch price bracket from 15-22.

You are right. If Changan wants to make Alsvin for export to RHD markets, they should include all options available in other markets,

Yes right ! I am still waiting for an answer from this person who is continuously bashing new entrants without any logic, Glory have a solid crash test rating whereas in Pakistan I don't think any crash test is conducted at all.
People chose IK only because he was not tested before same goes here about new cars we are fed up of loot and plunder by these big 3 and i myself would go to any new option (China Malaysia) or a 2nd hand Japanese car I/O supporting this ON mafia.

In saudi market Alsvin comes with 45L fuel tank, why 40L here?

Engine seems to be derived from suzuki k series platform. Hopefully it is as reliable as well

in Saudi market, the mid range Alsvin also comes without alloys, front chrome and LCD screen... in Pakistan, all variants have LCD screen, so i think trade off of 5 liters of fuel is okay in stead of something other like alloy or LCD screen

yes, agreed but is should not be at the cost of safety features like hill start assist, traction control, electronic stability control etc.

No doubt all these are welcome additions. But none of these occupy the same physical space as the fuel tank. So addition of these do not explain reduction in fuel tank size and his question seems valid.

indeed, i also couldn't understand why would they do that .. seems like a printing error or something because it is not possible that they will literally make a smaller fuel tank for the same car for different countries : /

engine in changan yuexiang (alsvin) is entirely designed by changan, it's not knock off of any suzuki engine
