I think you should wait till price reveal of Alsvin (1st January)

me also in the same ship can't wait till 1 january as I herd that on 1st jan Cultus VXR (40-50k) and Swift manual (30-35k) may get a price increase. So if Alsvin don't reveal price by 27th December then i'm going to book Swift Manual on 28th Insha ALLAH as can't take risk (If Alsvin manual is above 2.2 million then i'm not going to buy it at all and if i wait till 1st January then i may have to pay 35k more for swift booking or 40k-50k more for cultus vxr booking). A fish in hand is better than in the bush.

Go for Picanto MT/Wagon-R VXR/Swift Manual rather than Cultus VXR... cultus ki build quality very poor (dashboard ka silver part) and is just like Mehran and I only skipped cultus from my wish list as its cabin gives me feeling of Mehran which i am driving since 2010

i don't understand what is the rocket science involved in hiding price of Alsvin after its launch. after all its a Chinese product and not General Motors (GM) or Mercedez that keeping price hidden will create more attraction. rather most of us in Pak purchase new bike/car in January and book at the end of December and by not revealing price or sending units for show/test drive to 3s will result master motors loosing prospective buyers as a result. poor decision by management. The only attraction for me in Alsvin (over Swift) is that it has large boot space and dual airbags (whereas M13A+old shape swift is going to be discontinued in 2021) however if Alsvin manual is priced above 22 lack then bye bye alsvin I'm good to go with Swift and agar mujhay 22 lack say oper jana hi ho ga then I'll choose City MT in 24.5 lacks.

therefore Master Motors ko aqal karni chahiye and price reveal kar dena chahiye and should send test drive units asap to 3s if they wana capture year end customers pool.

I think their is a market rumor for cultus vxrs price increase.

But this is stupid logic. Most probably prices would or should be

2, 2.2, 2.4 at maximum. They need to price it below cultus and picanto to kill it, else its useless. The silver car roaming around doesn't looks very good, looks like its aging

They should have disclosed the price at the time of virtual launch. But I am still hopefull that base model will be under 21 lacs.

People on this forum have been proven so wrong about the launch responses in past 2 years. The "below Suzuki pricing" hasn't yielded any results for faw, United, prince which shows this is rarely the thing consumer is looking for. If they've researched the market well, and are willing to pursue it aggressively they'll win.

Changan Phillipines is giving a warranty of 5 years or 150,000 KMs ..... Changan Pakistan should also give 5 years or 150,000 KMs on Alsvin.....of they give a warranty of 5 years and keep the price tag lower than 24 Lacs on Lumiere then it would be a huge success!

Price and Warranty would be the game changers.....

indeed, Changan in Saudia also gives 5 years 150k km warranty.
warranty, price and after sales services price all are a combo to make the car successful!

in fact i was a bit surprised by DFSK 60,000 3 years warranty of Glory Pro : ( while every other new launch is coming with either 4 or 5 years warranties

Sad that they didn't go for standard 7 years warranty like in Indonesia and Bangladesh.

People keep on buying suzuki, toyota and honda's products at insanely high prices. We don't need competition here because in the end our mentality is Main tay honda e lay saan!

The thing is this car is priced below Cultus/Celerio in Phillipines and Saudia.

Why should we pay more for it?. Seeing the pricing of Chinese SUVs non is priced below Civic / Corolla base models.

They are keeping profit margins higher. And not providing quality to customers.

For now my only concern is, display a Chinese made car and deliver a low quality vehicle.

I'm still waiting and delaying my purchase decision too. I have to replace my WagonR 2018 with a fresh WagonR. If Alsvin is near Cultus il definitely go for Alsvin else il upgrade to Yaris or go for another WagonR then.

Faw, United, prince isn't about cheap prices only they are actually cheap cars with zero after sales support.

It took alot of time for people to accept Santro. When they did Dewan winded up. Kia invested in after sales first you see a kia dealership in almost every locality now atleast in karachi.

FAW isn't serious about the faw brand them selves. In China they are partners with Toyota, VW and other brands. FAW cars was a experiment and it failed i guess.

ALHAJ FAW are shifting to Proton only because of that, Al haj also has their name on stake if Proton also doesn't works out.

United has zero sales outlets in Sindh a total of 2 or 3 in Punjab. Why would people go for it?

Prince pearl is being spotted on karachi roads yes very very rare once in a week probably. But Prince is doing very well on motorcycles.

Changans best part is that its a joint venture and Changan wants pakistan to be a right hand drive export hub which means quantities and they keep price controls. Plus master groups credibility is also good.

Has Changan announced the price of Alsvin in Pakistan? No.
Has Changan displayed a CKD model for the general public to evaluate? No.

Then why all this hue and cry over "assumed" facts?

All the price estimates are just that, estimates. Just because Pakwheels said it will cost 2.5mn or Mr Suneel clueless Munj said 2.5-3Mn, ppl are ready to burn Alsvin at the stake.

Let the price be revealed first, if it's overpriced, I'll be the first one to bash it.

I think Changan is doing itself harm by withholding the price. With rumours of Cultus price increase fron January, both genuine customers and investors waiting will book Cultus as a safe bet. Because if Alsvin is that good, Cultus can be sold at any time without loss to buy Alsvin. But vice verca is not true. So Changan must do favour to itself and consumers and reveal the prices now.

They have hidden price like they are selling some seriously reputed brand. Few early adopters will eventually exchange with cultus/wagonR. Cars are dofft than phones...to experiment with. Faw has proven to be a real crap...so is bravo... although changan seems better still chinese thappa is just a big turn off
