I was discussing Alsvin with my friend in Saudia as I am highly interested in Lumiere. He said he took Alsvin on rent for 1 month. It was brand new but he didn't like it and he said it's brake failed to work several times and he returned it.

Similar thing happened to me with my faw v2 twice. I am quite worried about it now. Hope Changan will work on everything.

in every market world over this is half the price of Toyota Corolla base variant....

Master Motors should keep the prices low....otherwise people would prefer Yaris with less features...

the engine seems to be with a drive belt driven valvetrain with timing belt. Thats pretty old, every other car uses a timing chain now even the K10 or the picanto 1litre

Old but not completely out of date. Even Proton x70's engine uses timing belt. And likewise, Volvo also uses timing belts in models such as XC40, XC60, XC90 and S60.

Suzuki dealers have spread the news of price increase of All Suzuki vehicles including Cultus from January. And Alsvin rumoured launch prices have been gradually increased by 3 lakh. Unfortunately Changan is still silent about the price and not saying a word. Now people having budget of around 2 million are panick booking Cultus instead of waiting for Alsvin base variant. Changan may lose hundred of customers by 1st January if they do not reveal the price NOW.

Suzuki 3s salesman is saying that cultus VXR price expected to be 18.50 lack (70k increase) by 1st Jan. last week he told that 40k increase expected and now saying 70k expected
I am not sure whether it's true or false ....
They said get it booked within 2 days

Could be true. Could be cheap tactics by Suzuki to lure people into booking Cultus. But there is no logic to increase car prices now.
