It is a sedan but a smaller one. Sub compact sedan (category b)
a good upgrade for Hatch backs, But not a direct competitor to City or Yaris
so the engine size will be 1.3? or less if its not Sedan.
It is definitely a sedan. If FAW V2 and Swift can be 1300cc then a small sedan can be 1500cc as well.
The test units were 1500cc, so we can expect both engine types aswell.
You can expect it to be a Baleno sized car.
I was going to get Cultus. But after recent price hike/ I am seriously considering to buy Changan if I am able to book it. Only 100 units are launching
This particular car is 1370CC 1.4L probably.

Yaris is a sub compact sedan. Both Alsvin and Yaris are very similar in width - 67inch vs 68 inch.
Compact sedan is corolla.
Full sized sedan is Camry and Accord.
Proton is also a good car but its distributor Alhaaj group is red flag for me. The way they handled FAW sales here was poor. No parts no after sales services. Secondly Changan Alsvin seems slightly better and prettier than Proton Saga.
Sagas interior is downright ugly
