Exactly. Tesla did set up a plant there. But it hasnt become extremely common over there as it might be in North America. Who knows maybe this year we might see Tesla becoming extremely popular in China as well and give a run for the money to well established brands.

But one very good thing that these stats give out is that Changan and Haval are both good brands and sell in their home country really well. Only issue in Pakistan would be after sales service. Lets hope for the best.

Why do people consider average so highly in cars that are costing 2-3 million. Those who afford 3 million to buy a car can definitely afford to pay its fuel cost. Having 15km/l vs 12km/l average is going to give just a marginal benefit to only those whose car are driven a lot. A second or third car isn't going to give much benefit in terms of fuel cost

Hybrid cars are mainly marketed as green cars that save fuel and hence carbon footprint. While us in Pakistan only look for saving the burden on our pockets.

Thats a commercial machine that has to fly thousands of kilometers. Of course if you are running your car for commercial purpose - saving even 1km is very economical.

Well, I didn't say that expensive cars have to increase fuel cost. Just mentioned that people who are buying second or third car of the house, a car that will hardly run 1000km in a month, fuel average should not be the deciding factor for those cars.

Bro to me fuel efficiency matters even if i drive 100 kms a month. Small savings do add up. Yaris engine is best in class and simply much ahead of all available competition
