The point is that The more fuel efficient the car the better the resale.

May be new buyer will not mind the fuel efficiency but the second hand buyer will definitely look into it.

So one more advantage

alsvins engine is also dual vvt , and is euro 5 enable as well . So we dont know yet how far ahead or behind is that engine.

Yaris is an excellent city car but when it comes to highways city is comfortably ahead.

lets see how alsvin does in the next two years.

Not really. City creates back ache till Islamabad specially with leather seats. Wasay theek hai. Yaris is pretty stable but looks wylay too high. Lowering is important for looks atleast

I havent had any problems with city , yah the suspension spring is bit on stiffer side. They can either increase height and make the suspension softer , but this ofcourse comes at the cost of stability.

are you sure its dual vvt? euro is an emission/exhaust standard it doesnt effect or portray fuel economy.

yes its dual vvt ,its mentioned on their website as well, euro 5 enabled means that its a cleaner car.

on their brochure it says DVVT, that does not mean, its a dual VVT. nissan and kia call theirs CVVT honda calls it VTC.

I dont think that they have vvt on exhaust, maybe I am wrong, but their ksa website shows the engine cross and it appears to have VVT only on the intake side.

pak main euro standards mazak he hai, kisse company nay aaj tak apni emissions report to declare nahi ke. you can fine emissions reports of some engines but not many.

Seeing a few Alsvin in DHA Islamabad since last few days. It looks really good. Much better than Yaris from the back and front. Seeing how reliability is will make or break it in next few years.

I have also seen a couple of these. Had a chat with an owner at the service station. He is living in Emaar villas and is quite satisfied with the car. But according to him parts availability is an issue till now.

It's your choice, you don't need to justify it. The balance of price and features suit your needs. There should be no need to defend the fact that iPhone doesn't meet your needs and therefore you didn't buy it.

Offtopic but I had to say it. You bought it, be it Mi phone or Alsvin, for yourself. There is no need to explain it to anyone, it's YOUR need, not theirs.

Completely agree with you. Main yeh baat bohat pahlay experience ker chuka hoon Alsvin aur Glory kay forums per baat karo to log Big 3 ka agent kehna shuru ho jatay hain. Chinese product is infact more like a Social Stigma in Pakistan, her banda Chinese product ko Shak ki nigah say hi dekhta hai, chahay jitni bhi achi ho, salam hai un logon ki himmat ko jo ajkal itni high price ki chinese SUVs khareed rahay hain. I have experienced same for my FAW V2. Abhi tak logon ko batana perta hai kay bhai yeh Wagon R say achi hai.

Actually its not just the Public but the vendors aswell

Whenever i told them that engine is missing and coughing when rev RPM pass 3, they tell you, sir yeh toyota nahi hay, iska engine aiesa he hay, same was the reply i got for complain of deficient AC cooling

I have seen 5 or 6 videos on YouTube showing 0-100 timing of Alsvin and I didn't notice this coughing even at 5k or 6k rpm, nor it's reported in any review or by any owner of Alsvin known to me so far.
