Finally, i had a test drive, and there was nothing like missing in engine. Its was pretty smooth and solid in drive. I hated plastic quality though but drive was fine. Dct also is jerky and could be a deal breaker for some.. the car’s throttle response was excellent

I also fear in a year of so, only features will be left and car will be forgotten. Chinese have to prove a lot and so far, they have never delivered.

It sux when all we can talk are features in any Chinese cars. Interestingly, many doesn’t know alsvin has no climate control, just digital ac controls, so even features are not well thought

The satellite town service center owns the issue, i still remember his Tanzea reply... yeh Toyota nahi hay, itna tu keray gi...

bhai i think it's time China has pushed pedal in this segment also , and in the coming time you'll see A LOT of Chinese cars worldwide ... as you see other Chinese stuff.
I see a lot of Chinese cars heavily advertising their vehicles in gulf and i am also starting to see them on road too, making their presence felt .. so is the case with Pakistan, South Africa and other countries ... Chinese cars are starting to make their presence felt in these markets ..

They can and they do of course make quality products too..

and i think they have provided quite a lot of features already in this segment car .. it's not fair enough to say that features are not well thought out only because climate control is missing, ignoring the things that they have offered !

Sir China has no doubt pushed the pedal, there is nothing wrong with China, but everything is wrong with the Vendors who sell China in Pakistan.

China makes iPhones, China makes Mi and China also makes Qmobile... jo aap manufacturer kerwao gay, aap ko woh quality millay gi...

Unfortunately, we are cheated by our own people... our vendors cheat us by getting the cheapest possible quality, they quote wrong figures, they deny warranty saying yeh aiesay he hoti hay, aap pagal hein, complain for AC they will tell you shishay tint kerwa lein dopehr mein condenser per pani daal lein... filter nahi hay abhi aiesi he chalaien

Complain for Human Interface Visibility in Sunlight they will again tell you to place a tint on your windscreen, tell them about parking sensor coming out, they fix it with Elfy.. paint cracking in two months, koi nai ji, kher hay... paint tay ker desaan, tuhadi gadi shakiya hou jasiee, rehn diyo..

Maqsad hay they completely deny quality of service... same companies would provide you excellent aftersales in gulf... very minor issues make chinese cars flop... V2 failed despite being a good car.. lets see whats the fate of recently launched cars

Please feel the pain for the owner who ends paying almost 3 million for a low quality product... no doubt even suzuki gives excellent customer support not to speak of Kia, Hyundai, Toyota and Honda...

true, one can see a lot of chinese cars in GULF, but again, look at their pricing, you can get a haval h6 for the price of a corolla, you can get a ZS or cs35+ around yaris price. but in pakistan chinese cars seem to be premium brands and are sold at much higher margins.

in gulf u can buy a chinese car and even after 5 years if the car is at total loss, it will still be less than depreciation in a premium branded car of same category ,

price is the most imp factor when deciding a car you have to live with.

yes, i agree. I think Eado is at the price of Yaris in Saudia ..
but again, the question arises ... is it Chinese' fault or our own "bhai banday" doing it ?!?!

Agreed but only reason to get Chinese car is cheaper priceS i cant spent this much a anything designed and made in Chinese. Pakistan main naajaiz prices hain specially of Chinese

True this , they should have kept price lower. Should have started around 19 and ended at 23. Investors are finding it very hard to sell the car now after the initial surge.

Limiter is not actived at 3/4 rpm...

its basically like an old engine with weak rings, where oil dampens your spark plugs and engine starts missing, very unrefined engine... took it to several mechanix, the only remedy is tolerate and not accelerate while driving

Soft limiter does actually engage at 3k to 4k rpm (Depending upon vehicle)

When in neutral, soft limiter does engage at 3-4k rpm. I guess it's the same in Santro and City.

We need to get one urgently, although I hate own, I may have to pay it How much should I pay? I read on facebook fan page that there are plenty of investors trying to sell but not enough buyers, so own should be low?
