I made a booking of Oshan X7 on 10th March 2022 (partial payment) at Changan dealer Akbar Chowk Lahore and at the time of booking Sales representative informed me that your delivery date is June or July and your booking form will be ready in 2 days. Someone from our office will call you to pick up your booking form. Since then I kept on sending messages to the concerned sales rep and I was informed that booking form is in process and due to procedural delays it is taking time. Finally Oshan dealership agent called me on 25th that your booking form is ready to pick up and when I went there to pick it up , I found the booking date mentioned on the form is 24th March. My concern is if I made booking on 10th March then why my booking date is 24th March? The bizarre explanation given to me is that their quota of dealership was full so booking was made on 24th. I asked them why I was not informed so I would have gone to some other dealer for that they have no answer other than admitting their mistake.
These unprofessional dealers will just take pay orders without making booking with Oshan company so that they can shift the booking at their own convenience and facilitate someone who wants to overtake the queue. My concern is a) how would I be assured that from 10th March to 24th March no booking has been given priority b) If this dealer has informed me about their quota availability and booking would be done once new quota is available I would have gone to someone else and get a better delivery date c) What if company announce that after 15th July whoever is getting delivery will be subjected to price increase then who would be responsible, Oshan or this dealer?
