I'm having serious problems with Changan isb motors , but the issue has now settled down Here , I would like to elaborate on three fundamental aspects that define an exceptional corporate entity and where, in my experience, Changan Islamabad has fallen short:
1- Seamless Interdepartmental Collaboration and Coherence: An ideal organization ensures that all its departments work in synergy, driven by a shared understanding and adherence to the company's vision and mission. In stark contrast, at Changan Islamabad, the simple task of bringing together three departments into one room remained unachievable for the past month and a half. Furthermore, and most concerningly, the decision-makers within this franchise, which handles millions of rupees in business, remained conspicuously absent. Instead, the employees engaged in a blame-shifting exercise, passing the buck between departments.
2- Protection of Incompetence within the Sales Department: The unwavering and unwarranted protection afforded to Mr. Umar in the Sales Department, coupled with the refusal of the entire organization to acknowledge his mistake, strongly suggests either nepotism or a privileged status, perhaps as the owner's son. This entire ordeal could have been resolved on the very first day if the management had simply held Mr. Umar was accountable for his error and facilitated an apology to the customer. This situation serves as a glaring example that, if not addressed promptly, will undoubtedly lead to Changan's decline in the market within the next five years.
3- Lack of Due Diligence on the Alsvin Vehicle for Pakistani Roads: It is evident that Changan Company launched the Alsvin vehicle in Pakistan without conducting adequate research and development tailored to the local road conditions. This is manifest in several critical areas:
● Fragile Suspension System: The weak suspension is a potential hazard that could fail at any time. According to one of your workshop mechanics, the shocks and suspension have a manufacturing defect, which is why the company promptly replaces them.
●Substandard Low-Profile Tires on the Black Edition: The extremely poor quality, low-profile tires on the Black Edition are a death trap on Pakistani roads. Even a minor oversight can lead to a dangerous situation for the vehicle and its occupants due to these tires.
● Inadequate Headlights: In this era of HD lights, the vehicle's headlights are as effective as candlelight. In fact, the reason my tire burst was precisely due to these insufficient lights, which failed to provide adequate visibility. In Pakistan's climate and road conditions, these lights can easily cause a major accident.
● Exploitative After-Sales Guarantee and Warranty: The after-sales guarantee and warranty appear to be nothing more than a ploy to fleece customers. In the past six months alone, I have spent approximately PKR 200,000 on this vehicle under the guise of the company's warranty. I can only imagine the further troubles the substandard materials from an unknown manufacturer will inflict upon me if I retain this vehicle. I will keep you informed of any such issues. Furthermore, if I or my family suffers any inconvenience on the road due to the poor performance of this vehicle, Changan Motors will bear full responsibility.
Considering the aforementioned facts, and as a patriotic Pakistani, I have decided to make every effort to protect the general public, who are being subjected to a potential loss of PKR 5 million on a vehicle whose after-sales service is a deliberate attempt to embarrass and humiliate customers. Moreover, according to your own salesman (Mr. Umar), this new vehicle depreciates by PKR 800,000 within six months of purchase, which is utterly unacceptable for the average Pakistani.
Therefore, keeping the above points in view, I have decided to create a social media platform to openly discuss the damages caused by Changan vehicles and the substandard sales and production practices.
Sincerely Pakistani,
Syed sadqain Hashmi
