So just as expected. Hella cost cutting without any sound reasoning.

It's plain to see that the only reason they're giving outdated software is because they've cheaped out on the headunit's hardware. And no amount of software bloat on top can make the experience any better, it's like polishing a turd.

They're willing to make their flagship launch a complete failure just to save 1-2 lakh per unit. What be a shame. DOA for me.

How much do they save on head unit? I mean add a better one , pretty sure people who can pay 5.5 can pay 5.7. How the hell kit kat still works? Its like of 2013 or even more ancient. Where do they even find support for such OS now?

You can get an Android 11 based 9 inch panel from the market for 13k. So this unit must be for 2-3k.

I asked him but he didnt share . I asked someone else from Changan and he mentioned base model above 5 Million. Not sure as some rumors are 5.4 for base model while 6+ for Top varaint

Yes android units are dirt cheap. Not sure changan heads even used common sense or not.
