Can you please confirm if any of the variants have active lane keep assist (not the simple lane departure warning system)?

as far as I know it has only the adaptive cruise control and automated emergency braking/ AEB . I have not heard anything about lane keeping assist/ any other ADAS features . Will recheck with the guy in morning and get back to you InshAllah.

i know i was wrong with 127 hp mcvt but lmao.... we all could have never imagined how low can honda atlas stoop. but, again based on calculations, X7 should make it big.

With all the features on offer.... isn't it a good choice in crossover category? My only disappointment is no Android Auto or Apple car play support.

It should sell well but the chinese badge and 6 million on road would be a very very difficult decision to make.. its a big budget afterall

What makes you think the CKD will have all those? I’m most doubtful of the Kenwood system and Napa leather.

There will be an app.. named "car auto" which you need to install on the phone and its on the headunit.. you ca juts mirror your phone. the headunit dont have native apple carplay or android auto.

They had made tall claims at the launch that ckd will have exactly the same set of features. And honestly, the way they added a few small things to saga-ckd(rather than taking anything out), it gave a little hope that they might not skip out on these premium options from x70 as well.
But you're right, unless an actual unit isn't displayed, nothing can be said.

I think people in here are focusing too much about specific features to judge whether this model will be a hit or a dud and forgetting the general market's preferences. The general market largely cares about the look of the car, more than anything else. Size matters and then whether the car is beautiful from exterior or not. These along with price are the most important factors for a car to be hit or otherwise.

That's the reason Tucson demand has always remained high despite higher pricing than competitors. The exact reason Glory pro or Sorento didn't do well at all even when their prices are very competitive compared to market. Fortuner despite having outrageous prices is selling well still again due to its look and size. MG, Sonata, Haval H6 or Jolion, are high in demand despite high prices. So going by this metric, Chinese or not, this car will do really well as the car looks better and bigger than its near rivals. I expect a high own straightaway and long booking time.

No leaks/info. Yet? We're only a few hours away from the launch.

Price will make or break it. They've experienced it with Alsvin too, and I hope they learn from it. I feel its not selling up to potential, just because it priced to close to the market leaders (city/yaris). If they repeat the same with X7, it'll only see small numbers.

Btw for anyone else interested, this vehicle doesn't have lane keep assist (unlike mg) and also no auto dimming mirror or lumbar support.
So the only thing they'll be boasting about is the size, engine power and adaptive cruise. Let's see how many customers can they lure in at 6mil just based on the dimensions of the vehicle.

Why is the 5 seat variant more expensive? These stupid decisions from these Chinese, Korean companies are always confusing. Proton X70 AWD is cheaper than FWD, Sorento 3.5L is FWD while 2.4L is AWD.

I am looking forward to the launch as well.. if they somehow get the quality right and price is less than 6.0 m for the fully loaded version, then i going to book one. Changhan seems to be the most professional out of any new entrants.
