It's giti comfort f50, it's a Singaporean tire manufacturer and particular to this tire model found really good reviews on Singapore various websites.

Good comparison. I literally came here for this. I've booked an X70 and by latest news they're going to deliver it by March end/April start. Should I cancel my X70 booking for Oshan X7?
I really need features like lumbar support, rear view dimming mirror, etc but I like the looks of Oshan (but it's too long).

After closing down FAW, I thought Alhaj might be comfortable producing a better option now but I'm afraid they might close down X70 in few years as well.

What do you guys suggest?

Not really an initiative. Proton X70 already has ventilated seats (but yeah it's not available yet).

If my Info can help someone why not? Open the link and translate to see Oshan X-7 in China. there are reasons why Chinese don't buy their Chinese made cars if they can afford better Japanese/European ones. For reference I am adding pdf of the same page.

That was for the first gen X7 not the later plus which is being introduced here. If you browse through this aur other autohome website you will know that x7 plus is getting good sales and very good feedback in china. Also Haval H6 is getting very poor reviews in china, only the interior of X7 we are getting but everything else based on X7 plus.

When you look with a biased side, one can always pick out bad points.
Plus the problem and troubles I've read on forums from new Mercedes and Bmw owners, I would start labeling Germans as the most unreliable.

Its funny that we're so attached to brands and think of a car as an appreciating asset (which it isn't) and this mindset messes the equation.
A few bad pieces of machinery in hundreds and thousands is a norm.

Its (Oshan) definitely not as refined (in terms of convenience features and finishing at some points) as some other japs and koreans, but they've come a long way from those first gen geelys. All they need is some market support (after good pricing) and time to prove their reliability.

The only concern I have is with the pricing. This is a slightly refined/improved version of glory 580 pro. And similarly it just didn't deserve a price above 5.6mil. But then I don't see a single car other than proton x70(which has no ckd in sight) that actually offers decent VFM

I can say for the first question
300T version (300nm version) means that this is x7 plus tuned engine and transmission. (the simple x7 had 200 something torque figure)

Agree, and until they do so I will not buy them. Simple for me, others I cannot force.

Proton X-70 is another low quality product, just visit some pages in Malaysia and see users crying about non availability of Spare parts particularly a Faulty Radiator Fan. Door handles broken when opening door and dashboard with colour coating scratched to reveal the original plastic underneath.

Bro go and check out any of cbu of x70...
It has one of the best built quality of any csuv available...
They have managerial issues but x70 is one of best product in our market quality wise...
If you think it has low quality you need to get educated over your "QUALITY STANDARDS".

You would rather follow the herd and not critically think about a car. I am not someone who would just go by hearsay. I like to research on my own and make informed decisions.

For those who think I am unnecessarily calling Proton X70 a low quality car, here are my proofs. Research brothers, make informed decisions, getting emotional would not help.
@mgalaxy3 if you still see it as the best car up to you, by all means buy it. But lets also consider someone may be better informed than you.
