how rough this car is being used. i have never seen any one using car like this except in oil producing countries like you know. it seems it was Govt. registered and used by some ...........,

These are different cars not a single one. Posted by multiple Malaysian car owners, even dates are different posted in different years 2019-Dec 2021. Multiple cars Door handles broke, Colour and material chipping, dashboard plastics broken, Radiator Fans not working. This is just a fraction of what you can see on Proton X-70 owners Malaysia FB page.

In Malaysia, Proton sold 26000 units of X70 in 2019, 22000 in 2020 and 16000 in 2021. So from almost 64000 units sold in the past 3 years, some faults and failures were bound to turn up. Even Toyota and Honda cars don't have 100% satisfaction rates, what were you expecting from Geely?

Besides, these are relatively minor issues in the larger scheme of things. Had there been issues with the powertrain or something equally critical, that would've been a cause for concern.

Oh I missed this one!

Can safely say this is a "design issue". Hear me out before saying anything. The length of the handle seems slightly longer, excess length allows more strain on the handle and can snap. Seems like the focus was too much on Aesthetics and durability got compromised.

Agree agree, hope I have convinced some after posting the issues. I won't expect even a 3 million car's handle breaking, dashboard broken plastic, chipping away coating/paint let alone them being 4.5 million plus

Won't argue with you on this. BUT broken door handles, Dashboard plastic breaking, losing colour/coating as chips is a BIG NO NO

Overpriced Chinese products are offered on the name of competition while really is different. Value for money hon to baat bhi ban jaye.

Abhi agar PKDM main kuch ho jaye to awam nay asman sir per utha lena hai...aur in actual Chinese products kay halaat ye hain. PKDM chinese are ofcourse more inferior just like japanese and Korean brands locally assembled units.

Not really if i consider Chinese cars price brakets. Civic is worldwide expensive and is a brand as well. I found civic expensive but then Changan launched this at 6 million.

Changan should have offered complete safety suit then at this price but they haven't. Interior alone is a deal breaker. Sportage is so much better than Changan

And you haven't seen any of these faults on "japani" branded car that is a PKDM..? Forgot 2016 civic launch? Or dct issues of vezel (real japani gaddi)?
Bro these things happen when they sell at large scale....
Can you visit kia/hyundai pages on fb? And see what you get there?

I agree interior is a let down+ headunit as well as sensing package it gets in china....
I am in process of canceling x70 booking and booking x7.... Built quality of x70 is a notch better( fit and finish wise) over x7.
Saw civic there was nothing extra ordinary to justify 6 mill+
Suvs size is a big plus....

Civic world wide gets a ton of features what do you get?
Stripped down version, BRAND is something you trust with quality, reliability and VFM.... And this civic is not VFM atleast. You know quality of pkdm civic is far below global standards,

I don't like Honda Atlas because of their policies BUT I will always prefer a CIVIC over any Kia/Hyundai and all other Chinese products particularly when their price is almost equal. Problem in Pak is the new companies want the same profit for even lower quality cars

Nothing new.

Today test drove oshan. I have never experienced such an acceleration of any car. It was very powerful.
