Bro i have one sentence for you "China is the future". You have already witnessed launch of different chinese car brands in pakistan. In a couple of yrs our industry will be flooded with good chinese cars and suvs with better build quality and cost. Rest choice is yours.

I have no problem with GOOD Chinese cars with BETTER BUILD and COST. I would celebrate that as much as any other Pakistani.
So far I have given you proofs that they are "Not Good, not better made and you can easily see they are Overpriced.

If your statement becomes true in 5 years that would be great. However from what I see the chances of that happening are minimal

The sad thing is all across the world Chinese cars are selling well because they are just really good value for money. They are much cheaper than Japanese/Korean/European cars and offer all the bells and whistles, on top of that many people go for them on dirt cheap leases so the cost of owning one is next to none, and the risk is very low too. In Pakistan leasing is a joke with our ridiculous interest rate, and now there is a leasing limit too. On top of that ALL Chinese launches here are unreasonably overpriced and fancy themselves as being in the same league as Japanese cars. So they offer no value for money, they just offer a little more features for the same price. Alsvin was supposed to be the cheap, accessible to middle class car but you can get a Yaris for the same price. So at least in Pakistan Chinese won't be the future unless they get back in their own lane and start passing on those cost benefits to end users.

Bro pricing of Chinese cars is another discussion. In this I will support your view, as i have already said that the Chinese cars should be priced below the other European, Japanese and Korean brands as already practiced in other parts of the world. I think Changan Oshan X7 with its features should not exceed price bracket of 5.5 Mn. Same goes to MG HS and other Chinese SUVs in CKD version.

Error of judgement.
Having a fault in established trusted manufacturers product is different from faults in Chinese manufactured product.

Show me any local car from big three where users reported broken door handles both outside and inside door handles, dashboard plastic wrapped in paper/plastic that peels off, broken dashboard plastic. I have not seen any PKDM with such low quality.

You want to turn a blind eye, up to you but let others use their brains.

It's Honda Civic 10th generation:

I wish I could send more pictures here. You can easily see "tanky" everywhere in the car. Build quality is worst. I had Honda Civic 8th generations a few years back and I can say for sure that the quality of that car was far better as compared to their latest editions.

By the way, now I days I'm waiting for Honda to proceed with my quality claim about the Steering rack issue or pay them to 225K for an instant fix. They said me to wait for at least 4months to get this repair. Not sure how can you drive a car with that issue?

I booked Oshan X7 today and I can easily the quality difference. Paint quality was great overall build quality was pretty satisfying.

Drives toyotas worst pkdm sedan (Yaris) to date (according to me) - the worst cvt response also, engine start up sound is the worst I've heard in recent cars.

@zahid.geol sir I'm sure you would have heard of civic Xs whole bunch of issues (in almost 90% of vehicles sold) . Honda city's (prev. Gens) dashboard fading. Toyota Corollas passenger seat making weird noise.
I don't know if you're doing it on purpose or what.ignoring one side completely while over-criticising the other. Superb.

Plus you're not educating people, rather it's seems you want to ENFORCE your opinion on them.

And btw people like you are the reason we do not have competition here. Suzukis toyotas and hondas know that narrow minded people exist, who will happily justify price point of a stripped civic oriel while warn people against Changan without any concrete reason JUST because it is Chinese and isn't dirt cheap.

But still, I would wish you best of luck buying the Japanese here, till the time they start offering donkey carts with their badges, since we'll accept that even as soon as the little competition disappears.

Ps. I absolutely hate the Oshan's pricing (atleast 300k extra) . Also agree its not the most refined and best finished. But I'm hoping it's drive train, features and Master motors management will hopefully take it ahead rightly and offer proper aftersales.

Bro which pkdms ur talking abt? i have seen build quality issues of civic and corolla and internet is full of them. Why people is pakistan prefer japenese build cars over pkdms? Its the first time in pakistan that chinese cars with build quality at par with japanese are being assembled in pakistan. Stop day dreaming...
