Same. The regular x7 has a much more cohesive design, x7 plus looks like any other generic Chinese crossover with a needlessly large grille surrounded by fake vents.

The OEM wheels were also much nicer on the regular X7.

They didn't even change the orientation of FOG light which is on Left side I stead of right on Alsvin.

On X7 that setting knob on the right side of dashboard of the pictured X7 in Pakistan again has orientation of LHD.

Now , let's see how they do the infotainment system on this model. I believe android auto/ carplay is not available on chinese model .

I don't think AA or carplay is available in the handful of other markets where x7 is sold either. We'll probably get the same Chinese UI in English with China-specific services disabled.

The gear shifter's orientation has changed but the buttons on either sides are on the wrong side in pkdm.

Sadly that will never happen. I will be surprised if this starts at under 5 mil.

Disappointing to see this botched Frankenstein job. They still haven't bothered to correct the gear labels on Alsvin and the fog light, but taking the push start out from centre console and inserting it randomly in the dash really takes the cake. Infotainment on a car of this level has to be well thought out, a cheap android screen won't cut it. No doubt this will be presented as another fight against the status quo, but the 7 seater will surely be priced at 6 million plus. Will also be interesting to see if side/curtain airbags are included and what safety features are standard.

"The Changan Oshan has a Euro-VI engine which is the first time a Euro-VI SUV will be assembled in Pakistan.

We have been testing the engines in Pakistan and have modified the engine control unit (ECU) of the vehicle which is programmed for Pakistani fuels. We are very confident that it will have no major challenges when it comes to Pakistan. We advise customers to use Euro-V fuel that has been introduced and only go to branded gas stations. We have been rigorously testing this engine for endurance all over Pakistanunder local fuel, terrain and weather conditions and it has been performing phenomenally well. When it comes to fuel consumption, while other cross-overs are doing between 8-10 km/liters, our product is doing up to 12-14 km/liter which is considerably improved fuel efficiency (over 25%) because of this Euro technology.

It is equipped with advanced autonomous technology which is also being introduced in Pakistan for the first time. We have been testing at level-three for autonomous driving and based on that rigorous testing, we have introduced autonomous technology which is compatible with Pakistani roads.

It is a large-sized SUV which comes in both five- and seven-seater configuration.
