Even i was in same choice as to go for Cherry Tiggo 8 pro or Changan X7 both in 7 seaters, i really like Tiggo 8 pro but like you said dealer presence was lacking, also no after sales services so went for Changan X7. So far i have no complaint, only hate the white seats, 2ndly its my home car mostly driven by driver.

Uncle recently got his X7's seat covers in a different color from the dealership itself. They're aftermarket but feels like mostly the same material.

They're a shade of gray, not black.

Is it a Facelift?

The ‘major’ enhancements, you may observe in upcoming ‘facelift’ would nothing be more than a “new wheel designs, a trim color adjustment beneath the headlights and a two-spoke steering wheel replacing the current three-spoke design including one or two others.” That’s all.
Disappointingly, these alterations seem more marketing ploy than genuine improvement. The X7’s refresh appears to be a case of “same car, new brochure”. Here, Changan Pakistan followed the footprints of local bike makers where a bike with ‘just a new sticker’ is named a new model.

New wheel design is awful ,the previous ones were good.The front end change is subjective.

I've heard that new 7 seater full option is going to launch soon. Maybe it's this one.

I actually didn’t like the previous wheels design..

New rims look better to me personally.

7 seater future sense is welcomed, but price is too high in 9 million one should go for Haval as it’s a better product overall.. just dealership issue as it’s not available in as many cities as Changan.

The only thing that's keeping me from haval is the lack of dealerships particularly in Peshawar. Not just me but a lot of people I know can't buy it because of this.
I wonder why they don't have one here yet. I mean, it's a whole province they're forgetting over here!!

According to PW blog, they've added some new stuff too like voice command plus I know this is subjective but the new red colour is beautiful!

In my opinion, the biggest plus point in this new "variant" is that this has the future sense package with seven seats. This is what should have been done at the time of launch.

I heard that fwd cars when fully loaded, can't climb steep areas because of wheel spin. Is this true? If yes, has anyone faced this problem in x7?

Depends on how steep you are referring to. Most cars in Pak are FWD and those with good power can climb almost anything.. eg Grande and Civic. Oshan will likely be the same.

There might be wheel spin if the tire loses contact with ground on sharp turns on tiny path but if driven directly with momentum it doesn’t really happen too.

Aoa Guys

Need your kind guidance in selection of one of these two options

Need a 7 seater car and I am confused between Oshan X7 and Chery Tiggo 8 pro....

Oshan X7 Comfort (with new features like Tan interior, 360 camera, electric tail gate, new rims etc.) I am getting new for 83 lacs with registration . Master motors provide good after sales.

While Tiggo 8 Pro is for 84/85 lacs 2023 model under 10k mileage (although new 24 model costs 99 lacs with registration). But features and quality wise it's too awesome. Gandhara the Pakistani assembler of Chery is pathetic. They doomed Isuzu and Nissan in Pakistan.
So kindly keeping my hard earned 85 lacs...give me some guidance...

Brand new Oshan hands down , its cheaper its brand new has wayy better resale ..
I see soo many x7 whenever I visit motorway lol hardly see any tiggo 8 pro .
brand new is brand new , don't even think about a used and abused tiggo 8 pro.
Gandhara messed up ISUZU D MAX and similar is fate for cherry.

Thanks....but Oshan X7 is only sold in China and Pakistan...and Oshan brand has been discontinued in China.....and is sold no where else...while Tiggo 8 pro is sold in many countries around the world including Australia, Indonesia, Spain, Turkey, Malaysia, China, Bangladesh, Brazil, Iran, Russia etc....and the features like ADAS, Lane Keep Assit, Wireless Charging, forward and reverse collision warning, memory seats, Blind Spot Monitoring, butterfly head rest, third row AC compressor, reclining second row seats etc are nowhere to be seen in Oshan...

What's your take on that?

Even the Oshan show room guy said.... 'Sir Tiggo 8 pro is better, but Gandhara would make you weep'
