Of course, if you have a requirement for the third row seats then Haval is completely out of the picture. Oshan is the only option then.

Or Santa Fe/sorento in 1.5 crore territory (foolish price but better vehicles ).

Im comparing the two and in similar situation
Oshan is making more sense with 2 year maintenance package offer and discount
Im also inclined towards 2017 2018 fortuner
Lets see overall looks and new i want to go for H6 1.5T but a bit reluctant as depreciation will hit hard selling in a year or max two

Alhamdulillah got my changhan oshan x7 7 seater, it's pleasure to drive much better than haval (comfort wise), and last row seats are also pratical, I am 5'8 and I sit there for a 30 min drive in city and overall it's good for city driving, on longer journey's I might avoid sitting in the third row.
Sound insulation is good, car is silent, and sports mode is beast.
Alhamdulillah happy with the decision overall.

@bobtheminion.evil how’s the infotainment unit? Heard it’s pretty bad? No Apple CarPlay n Android auto either.

Does the absence of blind spot monitor bother in such a big car?

infortainment system is hit or miss in oshan, wireless sometime works, while wired is much better, it's not full fledge android auto or apple car play but it get's the job done, no complaints so far (probably because I am a big privacy convern guy myself and avoid connecting my personal devices to infortainment system), Bluetooth connectivity is quite good and connects my phone as soon as I enter the car

I said in my last comment, if someone is buying this car it will serve it's purpose as a utility 7 seater comfortable vehicle and gets the job done.

Drove around 200km till now, and no I did not find it difficult to drive without having a blind spot monitor, I liked how 360 degree camera covers these aspects as soon as I turn the indicators on, the camera engages and I can easily manouver, infact while parking as well, it's literaly quite helpful

if you are buying a car to have a good driving experience and long term ownership I would suggest please buy oshan x7, it's new, maintanance pakcage got you covered, you can easily own this car for 5 years
As compare to fortuner I think it's more of an off roader SUV, will not be as comfortable as oshan, resale wise if you plan to change your vehicle in an year or two I guess than you're covered
