Long review but you must be yhr only lucky customer, most of us (oshan users) are facing multiple issues mainly from transmission with NO remedy.

like i said its my home car, never been went for long route of over 25km on one go. Hight Octane i dont use at all, i did try one time full tank high octane to see if the fuel average get better but it only give 10km more, 2ndly i have been using company operated pump only since 2023 Nov.

Dailyed pre facelift Comfort variant for 2,000kms of 80% highway with zero issues.

However I felt cabin road noise to be higher than usual, kinda same as sedans like Corolla, Civic and Sonata.

Did some digging in FB groups to find out some reports that Future sense variant has better sound proofing compared to Comfort. Even there were some clips where FS variant had foam sound deadening pads in places where Comfort didn't have.

In the race of SUVs/Crossovers i feel Changan has to reduce the price of X7.

It’s not nearly as good as the H6 yet the top spec is priced at 9.3 million.

The vehicle isn’t worth this price and lacks so many features present in the H6.

They need to bring it down to around 8.2 million for the top spec 7 seater or else in my opinion one should just get the H6 1.5T as that has much better features, looks and repute.

It still offers one thing the H6 doesn't at any price tier. 3rd row seats, however useless they might be.

So for anyone who's in the market for a 3-row SUV, their only options in this price range are the Oshan X7 or the Jetour X70.

Unfortunately that is true . A 5 seater Oshan x7 however makes no sense to buy.

Hi all! Im choosing between Changan Oshan X7 FutureSense 7 seater and Haval H6 1.5T and would love to hear from owners of both.
Primary use: daily commute between 30-35kms, on paved roads, and casual off road when going home town after a month or two.
I want to know which one of these will good for long term realibility and engine performance?
right now the big 3 doesn't make sense in this price range, that's why I am compelled to move to these new entrants.
PS: Considering 7 seater oshan due to it's capacity, it would be plus for me to have additional seats if I want my whole family to travel with me, kids can adjust there.

Let me know what you guys think and which one you'll recommend and why.

If you need 7 seats, Oshan.

If you don’t, then Haval. It’s a more refined vehicle with better features. Much better head unit, has Apple CarPlay, auto dimming mirror, blind spot monitor, Heads up display.

Haval is in the international market for a long time. I don’t see any major long term issues.
Changan Oshan doesn’t have that much of an international record but it seems to be doing fine since 2022 in Pakistan.

I still would plan on selling these around 80k-100k km mark.

Changan actually is the much larger manufacturer and player, being an old established automaker in China with a pretty solid track record. GWM on the other hand was a relatively newer player. GWM does have the advantage of targeting export markets pretty early on while Changan really only started a few years ago.

Kind of funny how the perception in Pakistan seems to be reverse but that's what a poor marketing and sales strategy can do to you.

I know Changan has probably more Chinese presence but we can’t count only that - there has to be some international success and testing as well.
It clearly shows in the difference between the refinement of Haval cars and Oshan . Latter missing a ton of useful features (no blind spot monitor, no Apple CarPlay, no auto dimming mirror, no 3rd row AC) and head unit isn’t that nice either .

agreed, but it's the only car having 3rd row seats in this price range (atleast you can adjust kids for longer journey and adult for shorter/city drive)

Completely agree on the fact that H6 is a much better vehicle compared to the Oshan X7. In fact, prior generations of H6 were the best selling SUV in China consecutively for almost 8 years.

The problem with Master Changan in Pakistan is that they sell cut-down variants here, unlike Sazgar which typically offer fully featured options, so a lot of things you see missing are simply missing because of cost cutting reasons.

Another example is the Jetour X70, which is even cheaper than the Oshan X7 despite being larger. But it cuts even more features to reach that lower price.
