people in pakistan HAVE to take into consideration the resale value of their cars when they put their hard earned money into buying them..
A blue collar worker such as a plumber, carpenter, cement renderer etc. on average earns $6000-$7000 a month in a developed country... thats about as much as an average white collar worker (banker, teacher etc.) makes in a whole darn year in pakistan (or maybe even longer)...
so we cannot go on about saying that people in such and such countries buy chinese or any other stuff for that matter, but not in pakistan..there is a HUGE difference in the income level of an average pakistani and an average citizen of any other country that is doing much better than pakistan in economic terms...
A cement renderer in the US or UK for instance can take the liberty of trying out such unknown stuff by sacrificing a couple of months' savings..A pakistani teacher on the other hand would have to save for years and years in order to be able to afford such stuff..so he clearly would be justified in taking into consideration the resale value factor...
as for the car, it sure does look good, and why it wouldn't? Mazda has done the hard bit of designing the car for them ...(sarcasm)
