you are right but unfortunately what we have seen in the past years is that people here to willing to shell out loads of money for cars which have a so called name in the market. No one seems to be much bothered about quality or features. New comers have found it really hard to compete in the pakistani market, despite giving better value for money. e.g the previous generation corolla was the second best seller in the market despite having really poor breaking, and it was not cheap either.
I really don't understand, the typical Pakistani mindset isnt changing. To me it seems write "Toyota" or "Suzuki" on anything and it will sell. No matter how obsolete the technology and how poor the safety.
