Change of tire size matters?

bro ihave 2006 xli and i have changed tire size from 14 to 15, would it effect the consumotion, pick and speed meter reading? would it get worst or better?

Fuel consumption will increase.
Braking and grip will be better.
Pick might be affected a bit.

yaar i hv changed my altis tire's to dunlop sp sport9000 205\65\R15 94H from champiro BXT 195\65\R15 91H (came in stock)the change i hv seen

1-fuel consumption have be been increased from 10km to 9.7km
2-there is little just little bit increase in tire sound
3-Dunlop sp sport9000 is more soft tire good for our roads
4-Load capability of tires have increased from 91 to 94 that's good for me
5-better breaking now

My opinion is that 205\65\R15 94H is a good tire size it won't effect the suspension and other things in your car as there is only small difference of tire width but remember one thing do not change the profile,and rim size these two things will effect your ride too much (just a suggestion)

This will not only effect the fuel consumption, it will also have severe effects on the suspension as well. Fuel consumption will show you a visible drop of 3-4kmpl

My New GLI is coming in few days, would you recommend to change the tyres which come with origional car or the size and tyres are okay with same size as 15"?

Well new ones would probably be having Eurostars, which is an average tyre. If you change it, your warranty for suspension will be void, I would suggest to stick with the factory tyres till your warranty lasts. Just my 2 cents though, many members would disagree. But I think its better to have a sh*tty tyre than no warranty on a new vehicle. And well MashAllah, mighty congratulations on your purchase, may it serve you and your family well.

Not exactly. These are light weight branded wheels. They will not hamper suspension or mileage. The owner of this car is @vik_vik he can tell better

Brother been there done that... Never going for a bigger rim size again... But its a matter of personal preference as well I guess
