Changed Speakers - Infinity

Today i changed my speakers and got hands on a set of Infinity Kappa's 693.7i

Thought of sharing them with you.
I got these speakers very sparingly used for a very low price from a close friend

@bad cheetah: buddy im thinkin k what if i dont get components but only pioneer tweeters up front?? Zyada farqq aega??? If i get the good quality supertweeterss??

no to tweeters , u would have only sharpness, and puri sound quality ki vatt lag jayegi. door panels tu cut karne parienge agar quality chahiye....btw chk my topic on page2 i have posted new pics........

the sub is supposed to play the lows below 100hz
the mids are supposed to get a good mid bass above 100hz
and the tweeters usually play the highs between 2-20khz
if you only play the tweeters, you'd only be playing the 2-20khz range in the front which would ruin your sound stage as there would only bhe chan chan and no mid bass

yar it would be a hard task to make the parents agree to that
what if i

1) make a custom box under each seat for the component Low, and i mount tweeter on dash
2) make a custom box for mounting both the lows of the components Behind the cigarette lighter place, the place between both the passenger and drivers legs? and tweeters on dash
3) get JDM alto door boards (if they got space for components)

By the way, if someone could clarify me out on this,
i've seen that this speaker, in comparison with kenwoods and pioneers and sonys etc, this speaker has a Smaller Tweeter (mid-high), and a smaller magnet, in comparison wid the Kenwodo 718's etc, its tweeter is Mini , then HOW does this speaker have soo much clarity ? is it the material? or what ? and secondly, what is the Cross-over for ? i havent seen it in any speakers before except components.

bro agree karalo tu buteer hai , coz the best place for mids is in the doors previously in my mehran i have done all experiments, have installed comps in middle too

i have chkd it jdm alto doent have space in doors, thats why i opted for it otherwise i had gone for it......

bro in speakers its not the size of magnet that matters,its the build quality, and the material used in it....which is the major reason for costly speakers

these speakers seem appealing to me, what if i go for these instead of components :s ?? theyre 4 inches so they wud fit in the dash

and its infinity so the sound would be good right ??

yes i tried it, it wasnt that gud, so later in mehran i installed them in the doors by having made fibre pods....and then i found that its the best place, and previously i was missing sound imaging, all the sound was coming from center, no right or left.....

if you dont want to cut doors you can have fiber pods made kinda like this.. check the next few pages as well

@smartboy_am: achha i guess phir sides k ilaawa koi option nae ......maybe i cud get used door panels of alto 2003-4-5 or soemthing at a cheap price from shershah and then cut them up .. .cuz mere door panels bilkul new hein

but maybe i can get the fibre-pods made in the space under seats :S ...
