IMO, you should continue using ZIC 10w-40 fully synthetic.

Engine health is pretty good. No accelration issues. Getting 12.5 to 13 kmpl average on long routes at speed of 100 om motorway. A very low tappet sound, but the person 'kharadiya' in multan said that they dont need any adjustment

IMO, then you should continue using ZIC 10w-40 fully synthetic.

Overall Total Quartz 9000 Fully Synthetic is one of the best engine oil and the most value to the money, however, if your GLi 2006 had been driven 145,000 kms on Zic 10w40, then I recommend you to stay on the same grade and oil, changing it now will cause problems later. The rest is your choice.

You can use 5w30. Just check if it eats oil.
If it doesnt keep on using 5w30.

Total and zic both are good oils. If ur engine is in good condition and it doesn't reduce oil when running on 5w30, then u may go for it. 10w40 is also fine though just dont put 20w50 ever.

For almost a one and a half lack driven car 5w-30 is so thin. The best should be 10-30. And my preference is you should go in any iliac gf5 sn grade oil

its working like charm dont worry mileage you are mentioning is just a baby s day out for corolla,,

Keep in mind these thing ke gari oil na kha rahi hu,, bcz agar oil consuming behaviour ha gari me ya leakage krti ha to pir purany oil pe rahyn,no need to change...

Last but not least, jb oil change krwa rhyn hn to its my habit aur mene isky benefits bhi dekhy hn ke jb bhil oil brand aur oil viscosity change krwaen gari me to ek dfa engine flush zarur krwa len...

Do replace Oil filter too..

After engine flush, oil filter change is a must, but, no need for engine flush if changing engine oil brand / grade, especially for older engines.
