Changing for radiator fan to keep car more cool :)

sir my daewoo's fan is too much loud one can hear it from miles away any suggestions how to keep it quiet? it's a plastic housing fan with about 6-8 fins, i used resistance to slow it down but then engine heat up so i removed that, does capacitor help? where these types of capicitors can be found?

your car has a massive GATE branded fan in an aluminium shroud, the setup is 2 speed already with a resistor to slow down the fan, the resistor is near the battery. The slow speed is setup for A/C function and the high speed is kicked on by the ECU itself when the engine temperature gets high.

You can play around with different ohm resistors to set the slow fan speed as you want, buy a 50W or 100W resistor near to the resistance of the OE item and then go down a few ohms to kick up the rpm of the fan. Be sure to use heatsink paste when installing the resistor on the body of the car or make sure its got plenty of cooling air. Such resistors are plenty available in the electronics markets and are golden in colour.

btw - I never had a problem with daewoo racer A/C or cooling, the original setup is overbuilt already. e.g. just the radiator on that car holds more coolant than the engine and heater combined.

sir i think that fan and radiator is upgraded, maybe of cielo/nexia its with single nali wala radiator and fan with plastic shroud (korean written on it) and its with ATF cooler.
the stock racer's one is good with double nali and aluminium shroud fan, and it's sound is very less compared to mine as my aunt had racer i used to drive it often.
the heat gauge reaches just a few bits from the middle on high heat traffic jams like on 2pm, with direct fan and no Tstat valve, iam a bit scared to not to heat it up again so left the idea of fixing back A/C , last time heatup costed me aprox 400$.
fan wiring is all messed up its like auto or direct, i think i have to add up one more relay to make it 2 speed, low direct, high speed auto.

bro if iam able to find these SPAL fans is it feasible to fix them up ? (fixing them is not a problem for me) 2 SPAL fans on the radiator or replace this fan with the stock one it is about 1300 rs with motor, coz my current fan vibrates like hell i think fins are bit deformed due to heat. even engine vibrates lesser than that sometimes engine gets stalled and i still think that engine is running ( funny)

if the fan blade is vibrating, get rid of it, it can vibrate the motor loose and the fan can tear into the radiator fins. The good part of having a horizontal flow radiator is that you get a lot of room to install a fan. Find one and mount it.

btw - is your engine's thermostat valve missing?

i took the radiator fan out to check whether the fan is loose from motor but found that it was tight, so disassembled it motor was alright too but then found that fan blade is a bit deformed so if i run it at full RPM it was very hard to withstand vibrating fan by hand.
the junkyard guys are now very clever they dont sell fan blade separately but with motor.
Do i go with SPAL fan's if i found it? or bring the stock one? the good thing is that i can install 2 fans on radiator for quick cooling.

yes a road side mechanic just took it out and he was happy about it and i lost about 100$ for just head gasket change but the real culprit was engine head itself. and i didnt know about these cars but now im too much thankful to you as you guided me well.

replace the motor and blade, dont take it apart, it may have balancing done on it after assembly.
