Changing from 15" to 17" wheels on 9th gen honda civic, please guide

Hello I plan on changing the tyres of my 2013 civic prosmatic. The stock tyre size is 195/65/R15 and since I want bigger rims I'm planning on getting 215/50/R17 tyres so I can fit 17" rims. I have done all calculations myself and this is giving me a change of overall wheel diameter to sidewall height less than 3% which is acceptable according to most online threads i have read. But still I would like your opinions on how this would affect anything like car performance, fuel economy etc. Thank you.

I upgraded to exact same specs. 215/50/17 is the best size in 17s in my opinion for this civic without dropping the car.
The car is pretty comfortable, I drove it on motorway, within city, gt road and all the way to mallam jabba. U will definitely take a hit on consumption. Worst figure i have managed during summers is 10.1km/L.

Only mileage will be effected, no damage or effect on suspension.......you can even fit 19s in this car without much mods.

Increasing ur Rim and tire width will surely effect ur fuel economy. Its a compromise between Fuel vs Looks.
