Changing Santro's Fuel Injectors

How much difficult it is to change Fuel Injector(s) of Santro?? What is the cost (Labor + Injector price) and what risks may be their in doing that.
Is it possible without opening the engine head?

Why would you want to change the injectors?

The fuel injectors are usually attached to the fuel rail and you don't need to open the head or the valve cover for that matter to change the injectors. At least that's the way on my civic. I am not really sure about the Santro. But if you post a pic of the engine may be we can help you locate them.

i also want to get information about cleaning the santro injectors.
my car giving jerks on partrol, not on cng.
cam sensor changed, no improvement.
it will help if somebody got this done on his car.
i think new ones are bit costly and its not that usual that it had to replace. may be cleaning will resolve this missing problem.

ustad ji plz elaborate, power to injectors solinoid is cut off when on CNG, so nothing can go wrong to injectors, more over if setup is correct startup will be on fuel keeping short amount of breath in and out of injectors, same is the case with price too which you mentioned

injectors get dirty/blocked due to dirt/impurities in fuel, or even if somewhere gap for air/dust.
1- there is one spray that is sprayed at high REVs, one I got but not used was WARCO carb & choke cleaner.
2- Those can be opened and cleaned by mech.
3- there is one additive for fuel tank, that is added to petrol for cleaning, powerful one I think is STP in black colour bottle.

i was told this by honda pit stop ... i took my honda city there my car was giving trouble on petrol because of the dirty petrol ... the attending technician told me if you run your car on CNG this happens we will try to clean the injectors if cleaning works then ok otherwise you are gonna have to buy new injector which costs 18000 / injector ... but i got lucky and just a tune up on petrol did the job for me ....

Every time we turn off our engine, the last drop of petrol evaporates on the pintle of the fuel injector and leaves behind deposits and varnish. Heat in the chamber bakes the fuel residues and makes it stubborn to remove. This gunk collects on the pintle, and over time it results in injector clogging and leaking. The pintle caps are constantly exposed to fuel evaporation which leaves behind a powdery residue and affects the spray pattern. Usage of fuel additives for cleaning your fuel injectors is hotchpotch solution. It passes through the injector for a short time and makes little cleaning but on the other hand it is harmful for the fuel filters and engine itself. Therefore it is recommended to change engine oil after usage of fuel additives.
I provide off vehicle fuel injector servicing on the same technology which is used internationally. The injectors are electronically tested, flow volume and spray patterns are analyzed and later serviced with the acoustic technology. The solutions developed for cleaning is aqueous and is higher than PH 7 level therefore it does not cause any harm to the injector. not a difficult job? u can do it. all u have to correct tools. no risk is involved in it. it can be done without removing any other things. just plugs and petrol lines and air line will be removed and u can open it.
