@vaqas well the reason for not gettting 4afe is basically this car will be also used by my younger brother who just learned how to drive so i dont to hand him much power that he can handle. also with 4AFE there will be more alteration which was basically not my cup of tea. i like as much les alteration as posible.

well the news for today is that today the ENGINE GOT STARTED. the engine went back in engine bay last night .theyfixed it todays morning. around 12 the electriton came and car was in started positon around 6. havent yet put the cylencer . it will be made and fixed tommorow

rest most of the work is complete jst need to ask few question plz reply ASAP

1) as most of u recommended the piping of cylencer should be 1-3/4" ike quater to 2 inches is that ok or should i go for one and half inch.my plan right now is to get a normal cylencer and normal exhaust dholki right now but i am planing to get a free flow exhaust mufler later so advise me what to do.also should i do any change in the first dholki the small one.

2)what gear oil should i put in gear box

3)what brake oil should i use

USe 90 Grade oil coz thicker oils makes the shift harder in Winter when engine is cold.Use zic gear oil.

For GearOil

Use 75w-90..80w-90 Or SAE90...Not Above That..Else Synchro's Will Start Sounding And Crushing Gear In Cold Weather!!

Use Seikan Brake Oil..Make Sure Its Original...!!

You Can Use 1.5-1.75"...Better Use 1.75"...Thats Maxx...Not Above That...!!

@SER_GTR well i did used the seikon brake oil.and as for engine oil i used havoline. the gear oil was of ZIC company . dont remeber the codes will confirm tommorow morning

also as for the engine exhaust i have opted for a piping called by cylencer guys as 1 inch 7 sotar . they say its eqvilant to 1.7 inches.and i think the sound is great . will post pictures of the cylencer tommorow

i didnt got what u meant by "Hope Engine Is Not Throwing Any Codes" the engine is start and fully functional

Throwing Codes Mean..No CEL There...All Sensors Hooked Up....!!

Sometimes Check Engine Light Did'nt Even Come Even with Some Sensors Disconnected..You Have To Look Yourself About Them....Just See Engine Is Running Smooth And Have Eye On Mileage Too...!!

@ser_gtr well brother i understod what u said but got few problem

first is that my speedometer isnt working right now. i wasnt even working before swap. but the lights are coming on agnition switch. i mean the battery light. the handbrake light and the oil light .wwhen the engine starts all lights go off except battery light. i reckon its the generater. i will get it checked tommrow.

the other thing i need ur advise on is the meter change. i was looking to change from simple speeedometer to digital meter but i am not able to find the orignal charade digital meter. even if it is available the price is way to much but i do have a NISSAN digital meter and its shape is nearly ?the same as charades so should i go for it.? will it work properly on the charade? the electrition says it will work fine

You Are Using 5E-FE ECU On 4EFE?

5EFE Is actually 1500cc engine so using its ecu on 1300 might make it run on richer side...!! also make sure he wired it a/c to 5efe since both have i think pinout difference...!! just check for petrol avg if you have tio run..on CNG...you have no issues..

ask him for 4efe ecu...! bay looks clean..nice job done...drive it and post some of videos..

Well ....Make Sure He Wired Up Generator Wire All Good..looks like he forget to wire up meter with genrator...

about speedo so yes these engine uses VSS(vehicle speed sensor) no wire driven type.... so you have two options..if your old speedo is working....as it was wire type...then get mechanical driving speedo from old C40(EE80-EE90 Corolla gearbox) and put that instead of electronic one..it will fit and works fine.. and if meter is also bad...so i recommend to look for digital speedo for charade...if not then charade can fit so many cluster by altering....!!

look around for what suits best...i hhave seen corolla ae100(indus japanese) meter fits right with some alters in meter of course...!!

it also have CEL and others and looks cool too...and its cheap also nowdays...will get one in 1000-1200 easily...!! and it works all fine with ur VSS....!!

BTW a trick for you if you want to avoid power steering leakage make sure the pipe that is going from Pump the steering asembly should be tightly secured and you will not face leakage problems

Most desi mechanic just fit the pipe and they dont put a braket to hold that pipe and steering leaks.

@vaqas yes brother it been taken care off. where ever the rubber pipe joints with the steel pipe .the brackets are put in place

@SER_GTR well i was of the opinion that both ECU are the same . i also asked the elcetrition and he said that its the same but u have pinpointed the diffrence . thanx

.today the car was taken for a test run. and the pick is really awesome.it more then i imagined. brakes are good but i will make them better bz once u pump the accelrater it dont say NO. it keeps on taking accelerater.

may be the pick is v good bz it is using more petrol as u mentioned . i will put CNG next month.so i think i will let it be there.but i will also discuss it with the electrition.AS THIS IS MY FIRST PROJECT SO many thing are still to leaned thanx to you for all your help.

as for the meter i am still working on it. hopefully tommrow i will be researching about meters. personally i wish to go for a DIGITAL SPEDO METER.

2ndly..Electrician Just Say But There's Difference In Both For Sure....!! As Both Shares Almost Same Sensors..So Its Running W/O Any Issues...Else You Have Know..But Still Mileage Will Suffer Somehow..!

well i have changed the booster and brake servier as well but didnt changed the disc roaters ,i am planing to go to peshawer after eid to get the body parts so i will get them from peshawer.will also loook for rear disc brakes

also my tyres are a bit worned offf. may be thats y brakes are not working best .once i change the tyres then will make the next decision about brakes

today all mehcanical work finished,only normal electrition work is remainig .which will be done from tuesday onward.and after eid will start body work and interior

BTW if you are going for tyres i will suggest you dont put bigger size tyres and stick to normal size tyres.
