theres two things..

save some more money and swap..

or save a sizeable amount and buy a starlet.. then swap and stuff

since my car is still mostly original.. and its not at all aerodynamic.. bad candidate for high speed..

cannt change the car as it is with us from about 18 years
mine is also not in that bad condition but the engine is builted 2 times and now again its giving problems.... so thinking to swap it

rebuilt 2 times? you need to properly check whats killing your engine in the first place. This is not 70s american engineering which had 5.7 litre 145 hp V8s that would last 80,000 miles.

firstly it got dead due to negligence of my elder brother, fan stop working and then engine seized, and second time dont know what this jacka$$ mechanics did to my engine...
now no space left for boor it again..

well in your case it does make sense to change the engine..

in my case the engine as such is fine.. never bored.. only once rings and valves were changed..

I see some user error here, you mentioned negligence first - OK, the second time you dont know what your mechanic did - better replace your mechanic. (I still call that user error - if you see your mechanic is unable to resolve the problem correctly and is shotgunning parts at the car - get another mechanic)

sir i mean when the engine died first time, we go for a complete rebuilt and dont know what parts he used that it didnt last long and go for another overhaul about 7 months back, and now again it is decreasing oil like 2.5liters in a month
so now want to get rid of this crab. technology and want a fuel efficient engine so need suggestion which will be the best engine?

dude ....in my opinion finda good mechanic....i kept cat eyes charade for over 5 years and whn i sell it out i started to feel bad....
no car matches her performance....
dont even think about putting a toyota's engine in her ....
with 4efe u wud have to strenghten her body work along your suspension and brakes system...
in my opinion for cat eyes charade her original CB-23 engine is the best option.

if u need more power go to CB-60 at max...

i googled the history of charade and found that there was a engine CB-70 in gti model producing around 100bhp...
can some one tell me is this engine a bolt on fit in g-11 model with CB-33 engine??
availability of this engine? and whats this engine is called in local market?

yes it fits but its quite thirsty too, btw dont think that you can run in on CNG because its a very low compression turbocharged engine that goes like crazy when on boost. To make it fit, you would need to use your original gearbox and clutch with the CB70.

get another CB23-33 engine and put it in there with your original exhaust/inlet manifolds.

i just visited bilal gunj today not a single cb-70 was available..
one shop keeper was having a charades 4 cylinder 1.3L engine complete with wireing ecu gearbox etc.. but he was demanding 70K for it...
and its original 1L engine was available for 45K the kabuli one...
im literally confused...
a mechanic gave ma estimate of 125K for the complete swap with 4 efte...
and at the end he said i'll try my best that there is no handling problem

@Sharo53 : From what i know CB-70 / 80 engines were hell of performers , but these engines are no longer viable cause parts for these are not readily available. So finding one is not good. I would suggest that you swap it for the bolt to bolt fit same engine if u are not hungry for power and want it to be with you for another 10 years

^^ sir i heartily wanted to bring my car to you for a swap i literally talked to my father that there is a guy in islamabad he swaped a 1.5 engine in his khyber and is familier to this work he helped many other guyz for a swap in much less budget but he didnt allowed me
i talked to jz bahi and he gave me contact info of the guy who is in swaping engines in charade he is the owner of h22a charade...
i'll visit him on monday INSHALLAH
