Dear all.
i am new in this forum .. i want to share some issue in my charade. i purchased charade 85 two door. its totaly geniune but its suspension and its GODDAY not in good condition can any one give me the reference about any mechanic in ISLAMABAD . who will made perfectly suspension in normal price. pls give me suggiossions

brother if u were in lahore i could suggest u a mechanic but as far as the suspension is concerned just repair ur suspension from a good khradia. It will work fine otherwise it will cost u a lot.

Here are pics of my charade 86 turbo diesel. I bought it in March 2009. Before this I had been driving a 74 Corolla (Petrol) handed down to me by father since 1999. The charade was the first car that I bought with my own hard earnt money. And believe me I really loved it, AFTER the engine overhaul.
I got its engine overhauled in June by our family mechanic costing around Rs. 25K - the mechanic who has been taking care of my and my father's car for the last 12 years.

After overhauling the engine, I regularly change its mobil oil after 2500 Kms. I use Caltex Delo Gold. I have also changed its Gear Oil with Castrol Gear Oil (Tin Packaged). Anyway I have never done much to its exterior.

As far as its overheating myth goes, if you have original three channel radiator and a good quality gasket it does not overheat - God Willing..

Make/Model: Daihatsu Charade 1986
Reconditioned / Registered: December 1995
Engine: 1.0 L Turbo Diesel
Repainted: Only Left two doors and minor portions of rear fenders
EVERY OTHER PART IS IN ORIGINAL COLOUR INCLUDING THE ENGINE BAY. Even the floor carpet in the car is original.
Work Needed: Replacement of Turbo
Mileage: Around 25Km/Litre on highway
Rims: Original Daihatsu alloy rims
Gear Box: 5 speed manual

Dear All!
I have few questions
1- I have charade 82 in mint conditions but I want to change its all 4 shocks, is there any body, who can guide me where to buy the shocks? which brand? Price? (I am located in karachi)

2- Is there any engine swap possible in Charade G10, any powerful engine?

In rwp/isb, you can get almost all parts (engine, shocks, goda etc.) from chah-e-sultan. Don't know about Khi market. Usman Ansari (senior PW member) may help you.

Engine swap is possible, but the stock engine is very good. Better get it overhauled.
