Dear Charade users, I have Charade 85 model and looking for steering rack, my steering is making noise "khar" "khar" while turning the wheel on either side, I personally removed the existing steering rack and consulted two "khatadia" for repair, both advised me to buy a "kabuli", for the time being kharadia greased it and pressed the ends but eventually I need to replace it in few months as the sound is still coming , can someone guild me, where can I get a good/ used steering rack? or any other suggestion? Please.

I was unable to visit Pesh due ro busy routine of office n domestic affairs. But hope will get the time. One thing is for sure that I have to change all 04 springs (Front + Rare).

Sir what would be estimated price ? will it work to buy only springs ?

Last time I bought springs was in 2005 and they were really cheap. The 82 Corolla springs were just for the rear as the original springs were sagging.

For front, I installed Kabli springs and shocks set of 88 Charade which fit perfectly and improved the ride considerably.

wow its been a while since i went through a thread let alone reply to it. Well i got my ole Betsy refitted with starlet shocks ages ago around 10 years back to be more precise. Shes been parked in the porch for over 5 years and just gets a start and a lil round on the block to keep her rolling. Still drives like cloud breezing through the sky. Had the engine suspension redone along with bits of rusted parts retouched with some good ole school polishing MASHALLAH

why not the variant 2SZ-FE Toyota = Daihatsu K3VE which has oem parts support to overhaul. It is same engine as in FAW V2

Didn’t know the difference about them. I am being told that these K3 are also by toyota so maybe they are the same thing.

Daihatsu & Toyota are 2 sides of a coin.
Daihatsu Coure was assembled at IMC Toyota Plant in Pakistan.
Some of Starlet Variants are rebadged Charade in ANZ market.
1983-1985 Rear Wheel Drive Daihatsu Charmant with 4K + KE 70 drive train was marketed in Pakistan while Corolla FWD was struggling to make inroads

outside 60% in original paint and inside 100% original in paint and also in condition. Engine was swapped with 1SZ (Manual Transmission). AC working. CNG & Petrol working. HID installed. Power stearing and windows. Dashboard like new. 13 inch Alloys with good condition tyres.

Mera pas charade 86 hai. Uska crankshaft or balancer toot gaya hai.
Kohi mujhay guide kar sakta hai kay kaha achay rate main achi condition main used main mil sakta hai karachi.
Or kitna ka hoga.
Or agr new miltay hai to wo kaha or kitna main miltay hai.
