Cheap bike for beginner

Assalamualaikum
I have recently gotten admission in a university in defense and I live in Gulshan, the distance b/w the two places is nearly 15 Kilometer.

How long would it realistically take me to learn to drive a bike in intense morning rush hour on Shahrah-e-Faisal and Shaheed-e-Miliat road and which bike would be best?
I want to get a very cheap bike because I'd rather have a cheap bike sitting at home not getting used rather than an expensive one.

also this might not be the best forum for this, but guidance on any other transportation methods (vans, buses, bykea e.t.c) would be appreciated.

Just get a CD 70. Or better a honda pridor in use if you want a relatively comfortable option.

Chinese CD-70 will be a better option.
1. Lesser Traffic Congestion – A bike can squeeze through traffic easily which makes it easy to avoid jams, helping you to reach your destination quickly. A small gap is all you need to get ahead. You will almost always be on pole at traffic signals as you can manoeuvre your way to the front. This means every stop at the signal turns into a race start.
2. Parking Is A Breeze – You can simply park in any small spot and don’t have to worry about proper parking on congested streets. This not only saves you parking fare but you likely don’t have to walk much to your destination. All this saves you crucial time.
3. No Toll – You not only save money by not having to pay money at tolls but you also save time as you don’t have to queue up and can take the left most lane for quickly clearing the toll booth. Time saved by a biker at a toll stop is massive, more so at crowded plazas at peak time
4. Milage. You will get at least 50-60 Km/L

Go for used CD70. Better avoid chinese. Although chinese are not bad either. Honda is more reliable in the long run.

Go for Ravi Humsafar 70 and will give you around 55-56km/ltr. Very comfortable, economical and quality is better than other motorbikes and brand new will cost around 80-82k. True value of money!
