Thus I regret to inform you that you were actually doing 160-165kph when you took this pic. And frankly my santro does it too

u r wrong the more bigger rims size shows less speed for e.g if u r doin 100 on speedo but ur actual speed is 103kph....if hes doin 170 on 17s rims his actual speed wud be more...check this website

there is only 7hp and 7 torque difference between the 1.8 and 1.6

my xli gives me 7.5/liter

It's really astonishing for me. Why afterall XLI is so popular without even power windows. If average of XLI is so pathetic then go for LIANA. It gives me 12Km/Ltr in city. Even Baleno & margalla used to give me 12-13 Km/Ltr in city.

Yes I was also thinking the same. But tyre size also matters as the speed will be be totally dependent on the over all Radius i.e Radius of tyre. May be he is using 17 Alloys but tyres are low profile so the radius is small

• 1.6 Altis Auto will not have Tiptronic? Instead a simple ECT Automatic?
• 1.6 Altis Auto will not have Cruise Control?

I was thinking to cancle my booking of Civic VTi and stretch my pocket for Altis Cruisetronic; ops now just Altis - A/T...I am surprised to know that the only cool feature Altis 1.8 had (Tiptronic) over Civic is removed...For me there is nothing interested in it anymore! I am sticking with my Civic VTi booking!

So whats stopping you? If you really are interested in buying 1.8 Altis S/R A/T with tiptronic go buy a brand new one from market. You may get a good deal for 0 meter car or 100/200km driven 2011 model cars. They are available in the market. Go to jail road or see Daily Jang Sunday edition

if gli auto with 1.6 wont be having a dual vvti engine but altis 1.6 will be having it i dont think buying gli auto is a good idea since price difference is not much and in altis ull get alot more accessories as well
plus the real thing will be economy in altis due to the engine differences
