Sorry for the late reply but I was away for a week. The engine sound still persists..though it comes on for a very short time when the car is at 90 km/hr in 5th gear..not above or below it. The mechanic said, the tepids need to be tightened, which he'll do at the next oil change.
I parked my chery at lahore and had to use Civic and Estima (my other 2 cars)..and believe me, I missed my Chery...its drive and comfort.
The MP3 player I installed was Kenwood 5029VG..which supports VCD as well. I got it installed from Liberty for Rs 8600/-
I have a query. When you turn on the ignition, there is a sound...that means u start the ngine after the sound stops of before that? Secondly, the power window on driver side, does it go up and down by one push or u need to keep pressing it continuously?

1-Start Ignition after that 4-sec beep. (time required to boot-up ECU)

2- Window Control has 2-senses...
1-light push/deep push

One for full down and other for little change.

The sound which comes after turning the ignition on can be removed if your seat belt is tightened.... the beep sound comes only if the seat belt is not tightened.....

But the car should be started when the lights in the dash board goes off(oil etc)....

Secondly if you want that your power window opens itself then just push the button downwards and release it..... the window will come down automatically....

And if you keep the button pressed for some time then the window will stop as soon as you release the button.....

What is the news about your gears......??? are they any softer or still the same.....

The gears are better than before after I got the clutch adjusted and gear oil changed.
Has anyone of you consulted the dealers/mechanics about the engine sound at 90 km/hr?

dear devil maker found the problem my self yesterday.the batterys wires were way too loose.Its doing fine now but still giving me mileage of 6-8 km/l on supreme petrol.im in islamabad what should be the mileage of qq on isd roads.

5 or 6 km/ litre? hmm, thats wierd, cuz i am getting around 14 km/litre in karachi city. are u revving very high? going very fast usually?

6-8 Km on Chery is something to be worried about as you are not having any 8000 cc car, its 800 cc chery and it should easily give 14-15 km in city and 19-20 km on l ong run as it gave me on petrol....

Now I am using it on Cng and I am getting almost 115-120 Km in a 40 Litre cylinder.... The gears are still stiff, lets see if after getting clutch adjusted and changing gear oil the gears becomes softer or not....

Due to un avoidable reasons my leave was postponded and I was not able to go to Islamabad this weekend so I will let you know the mileage on long route on Cng whenever I go to Islamabad....

Waisay what do you prefer, should I go by Gt road or by motorway as for the last 3 times on motorway I was not able to get Cng due to long ques at cng stations on Motorway....

Should i wait for 1000 km to be up because it the mileage of my QQ is increasing after every fill.Now its upto 9km/l.The car was not used for 3 months could it be a reason.
U can say that i drive fast and with more revving

Choose motorway if you're going by V6 Engine based car...
and choose GTroad if you're going on chery by ... 3-cylinder Chery....
3-cylinder cars are not recommended to be used for long routes on high speeds above 100km/hr.
but gtroad gives a lot of chances to slowdown...

I will recommend GT road.

1 thing which I have noticed is that there is no gear shifting rod in Chery, the gear shifting is done with the help of wires connected to the gear lever and the gear box which are covered in steel pipes for protection....

This might be the reason why we are feeling difference in gear shifting as other cars uses rod type system and chery uses wire type system for gear shifting....

Correct me if I am wrong....!!!

if you are revving very high and driving the QQ hard (ie. fast pickups. hard braking etc) it would give you performance but at the cost of fuel efficiency like any other car. if you drive normally and ensuring rpm below 2500 u would get the best performance in the city.

you are right, the gear shifting is fully cable. my mechanic noticed that. but my gears are smooth an silk for shifting now.

I have seen many qq's on road in the last few days, it means that the sale is going good...

Many of them were APPLIED for which means that they were recently purchased...

Now whenever I go to office in the morning I atleast see 2 Chery's in the morning and 4-5 Chery's while coming back home .....

Chery has proven its worth to the citizens of Pakistan and hope that it will keep providing excellent customer services to its customers at all times......

I am getting 115 km/ 40 litre cylinders while driving at 4000 rpm gear shifts.....

People who can shift gears earlier can get better mileage than me and it will be more economical for them....

The car is powerful, dont know about its performance with ac on cng as I have not tried that yet.... But lets hope for the best....

which caompany emulator and advancer are you using in your car and what is the mileage that you are getting on cng with 40 litre cylinder....

I am not enjoying the conversion from gas to petrol where as the conversion from petrol to gas is excellent.....

I haven't installed advancer or emulator with my CNG kit. It is giving me 120 km within the city and 145 km on highway (at 110 km/hr)

Then you must be converting to Cng manually if these 2 are not installed.....
