I've been very lucky, I paid only One trip during my 4-month experience, and that was when chinese engineers came for general check-up.
I think couple of problems are created by local electricians.
As Owners of this car well know, that almost all interior lights are adjustable by a potentiometer given with light controls, if electricians missunderstand that, and may use that cable with car-stereo (already given) as +ve supply (which is variable actually), then automatic volume up/down may be the consequence. which is not the problem of cheyr but the problem caused by electrician.
I don't know how u put urself in trouble with steering locking, as i've been using that feature in past with no-trouble.
THe only problem which i found is the 'real problem' is the Gear stiffness.
