Pata nai ye Chinese kya chah rahain hein. Aik tho naam Cherry uper se 66 Lac invoice, Changan ko bhi Chargaan se confuse kiya ja raha hai (chargan means chickens in pashto). But all in all, 6M for this would've been bang for the buck. Almost 7M onroad is toooooo much.

That's what i feel. 6 million on road price, with price held for at least a year and quick CKD deliveries, that would have been the way to go to capture market share. Huge gap in the market for real value for money offering.

Sorento didn't sell because of outdated shape, and when it was launched the price was too close to Fortuner. But people have been buying it now on the discounted prices despite the unappealing MPV like shape.

Not saying the pricetag is justified but with the way prices of all vehicles are increasing (Civic RS is now 6.5 million), I'd buy whatever I need asap.

Rule of thumb: The best time to buy a car in Pakistan was yesterday, the second best time is right now.

Changan and Suzuki pricing going up as well.

Chery pricing will also go up in few weeks time. Obviously terms and conditions also matter. I see a price increase of 250K for Tiggo 8.

In case of Honda, I think some % of increase is also applicable if made full payment.

Seriously considering booking this right away, but these people are too strategic, launched on a weekend so genuine buyers can't book, meanwhile I'm sure 'investors' have already gotten the full quota.

Hate MG all you want, but it's the only Chinese company that has absolutely nailed the interior design and feel. Tiggo and Oshan, despite their shashkay, still have that 'chinese' look to them.

Clearly shows you haven't looked into the Tiggo 8, even from pictures, the quality difference with Oshan X7 is day and night. Look at the South African reviews and the number 1 point they talk about is the quality and attention to detail on the Tiggo. If anything, MG has a more chinese feel to it with its BMW ripoff exterior and slow, laggy touch interface.

My opinion is based off of what I saw in the PakWheels video. I especially did not like the digital cluster. The interface design, fonts etc had a very Chinese feel to it, usually what you see on Chinese Android phones.

The vehicle in the Pakwheels review MIGHT NOT BE a CKD. Yes we will have same features as seen in the video but the vehicle itself in the review looks like a CBU. This is what I believe on basis of certain things. Please keep in my mind, my opinion is only related to the vehicle in the video and I maybe wrong.

So, for built quality and fit and finish of CKD, we need to wait.

I think gandhara and lucky motors do ckds well. Their assembling quality is better maybe because of low volume sales ?

well KIA, HYUNDAI do CKD.. but they are using almost everything imported as far as parts for example dashboards, seats and other plastic components on the interior as well as the headunit. TUCSON I believe is exception, that uses localized parts to little extent like the head-unit is local and someone told me even the dashboard and some plastic parts like door cards are localized, again no confirmation about it.
