Tiggo 8 Pro facelift has arrived with heavily revised exterior and interior. There is also a PHEV version with a 1.5t and 100km of electric-only range.

So as usual we got stuck with the last gen car while the rest of the world will be getting the new model. I don't expect to see this new version in Pakistan for at least a few years. Very disappointing, the new entrants to the PDM should have changed the norm and introduced the new variant globally.

To be fair, this is just a facelift of the same generation we have and this is only for LHD Chinese market for now. All RHD markets like South Africa and Pakistan have the pre facelift version, in fact Chery still hasn't launched 8 pro in other Asian countries like Indonesia and Thailand. They will be getting the same pre facelift version in the next few months.

The death of an automobile is the buttress console. Why do they have to do it why !

The center console should not block your resting leg , I don't know why they can't overcome this design

Maybe it's the design of the dashboard and middle console, but i felt the seats were slightly narrower.

Right about the centre console, I noticed the same thing in my initial review. If you have a habit of keeping your left leg upright (as many who drive autos do), your left knee has to stay upright too.

As nice as the original one is, the face-lift looks so much better. But I suppose that's how it goes with Chinese products. Right now it's Tiggo 8 Pro, next month it will be Tiggo 8T Pro and the month after that Tiggo 8T Pro Max.

Well you're not wrong. In fact, the Tiggo 8 pro being sold to us is called Tiggo 8 plus In China and this brand new version is called Tiggo 8 pro. So their naming is already all over the place.

The problem in this venture is Ghandhara Nissan that has previously failed decent Nissan products.
It also launched an outdated Isuzu dmax to compete with an up to date Toyota Hilux and failed what could have been a brilliant product.

Don't know how they're going to fare with this, competent people don't fail that often.

I have spent about a month to create a comparative database looking at almost all new cars/SUVs in the market in the 5 - 7 million price bracket. Cherry Tiggo 8 Pro has won the competition. But there are other variables at play that have nothing to do with the product. How SAD!!
