well it is good car and has warrenty of 50000 km/2 years which ever comes first which is far better then warranty given by local assemblers. secondly it is delivered within 1 week without paying prenium.
As far as spare parts are concerned they are easily available and overall it is much much better car with better quality then what local assemblers are giving

Yes no doubt its a good car. secondly ALI who told u that its available in one week without premium. I think u have been sleeping for long time. Exclusive not executive is available on premium of about 40,000 to 45000. i have booked this vehicle three months before and it was to be delivered to me on July 25, 2005 but still now i have not got my car. so please guys if u do not know any thing do not make wrong statments. first make a search than write.

Well Salman asir just to correct u that my cousin bought exclusive in first week of july and he got it delivered in just 3 days so check out may be dealer is misguiding you so please do verify before writing......

whats the fuel consumption of chevy exclusive and is it also come in company fitted cng.

Well yes they are having serious problems in the delivery of the cars. The car was giving me 18 km/l in the city and I think thats awesome because it's a 850 kg very safe car and that milage with that much weight is extremely good. And it doesn't come with CNG installed but I have installed CNG and it's OK.....

Dear Bilal, can you tell me what CNG fitting you have installed and what all is required. Also what was the total cost and if you are in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, can you recommend anyone for CNG?

Well I haven't been running the car on petrol much ever since I got the CNG installed so don't know about the petrol average now. The CNG is 1 rupee per km so it's very economical. I went to lahore from pindi with AC and the total cost of CNG was RS 350 and I went to the farthest part of lahore till LUMS.
About the Kit installed, it's a landi renzo with advancer and emulator and it's cost at that time was 36000 from the market but I got some jan pehchan and got it for 30500. I have heard that the present price is more than 40. But remember that this is not the kit meant for MPFi car as that kit has it's own injectors, ECU and much more but that kit isn't available. People also install simple kits in EFi cars and are quite happy with that so no problemo. Works fine. I can give you guyz the number and location of the person I got my kit from if you say so.

salam 3 every1.well mine 1 was deliverd exact after 3 months(lahore)as far as fuel consumption is concenrened my 1 did 300 km in 32 liters with full a.c in city.yaar kya lahore mein fuel too acha wala hee aata hai????

bilalahm bhai i like the chevy a lot.my only concern is that abt the CNG installation on it.I want to know that whcih cylinder capacity(45 litres or 50 litres) u choose for it and after installing it in the dikki where did u put the spare tyre(steppni) which is placed in the dikki by the manufacturer and also do the CNG and and the petrol fill side by side like santro GV.Also can the car suspension works fine with it coz in CULTUS(AC+PETROL) the people who install CNG themselves say that when people sit in the back the car becomes a bit down at the back!!

Yar go for the 50 tank as it's OK. When I didn't touch the rear suspension after the CNG installation, the car did come down a little and the shocks touched the body when passing through a speed breaker with five people seated. But I didn't change the springs and just changed the rubbers that are attached to the springs so that they don't touch the car's body directly and the problem was solved.

The spare tire has to be retrieved from car's inside after inclining the back seat as is the case with all hatchbacks with CNG. And the filling valve is installed just adjacent to the petrol filling area.

Bilal yar can u upload a pic of the dikki CNG of ur CHEVY.Dont u think its harsh on the car to put to much weight on suspension and does the MPFI reduces CNG consumption also.
I like CHEVy but i am a bit worried abt CNG installation in it.I am also thinking of buying SANTRO GV for facory fitted CNG+space as compared to CHEVY.Wat kinda of CASSTETE player is in chevy which company and does it have equalizer+lights??

Yar these are not the kind of deatils I expected to be asked by anyone. If you like a good cassette player, buy one, and it doesn't have any equilizer lights.
And of course installing CNG is not something that one wishes to do but it's something that we HAVE to do if we want to run the car. If one can afford petrol at nearly 53 rs/litre then he can also buy a very expensive car, why go for a compact family car?
And no I won't be uploading any pictures of the car's boot. The cylider fits great and there's still some space left for some small packages if you can insert them by inclining the rear seat.
And one more thing, the real MPFi CNG kit is not available in Pakistan so we have to go ahead with the simple Efi one. The MPFi kit comes with it's own set of injectors, ECU , gas filter and the regulator is also entirely different.
Santro is almost the same as chevy except that it's body is made of tin. And the santro people are also installing the EFI and not the MPFi kits in there cars.

You guys should check them out too. I went their with my Chevy about 2 weeks ago but at that time they didn't have the kit, they said check back after a week or so. I heard that they install the LANDIRENZO EFI kit.
