problem is on cng only

If its ok on petrol then why are they asking you to change its Throttle body ?

guys please help me and tell me some chevy ecu setting and cng and throttle body sevice person in karachi who can fix this problem... i am so wurried its f.f cng

problem is on cng only ... and its droping and increaseing rpm continiously ... and engine goes off wen i turn the a.c on on idle..... i have changed the plugs today but no changed... inshallah will change plug wires tomorrow... 3s here in karachi told me today to change the throttle body costing 18000pkr... uff i am so wurried

if the problem is just with cng then it had no link with throttle body..
i would advise you to get your cng tuned my a good reputed cng shop and get its emulator and advancer checked...
your car's engine tuning done recently? if not ,get it done also...

its only 58000kms driven and its 2006 joy

as much i know just the Chevrolet guys can solve the problems of this car...at least in lahore...

even the car changes its rpm during driving....

Clean your throttle body properly by some mechanic

must be very dirty

^^dont even dare to do that with crab. cleaner spray,WD-40,or petrol on chevy joy/optra/aveo unless you want to give 4.5K to 3s dealers for reprogramming and re-cleaning of throttle body of your car....

i am using this car since 2006(june) .......kisi AZAB se kam nahi hai yah gari no dought road grip awesome hai.....aaj kal me also facing same problem throttle body....used mkt mein milti nahi new khass magwani paregi CHAND se only 16k mein........requst hai dosto kabhi mat khairna iss type ki cars.......SIRF SUZUKU,TOYOTA aur paisa zada hai tou HONDA.

Road side Mistery walon ke liay ye gaari wakai azaab hai.

Bhai aap aik kaam karo aap thoray dino key liay Suzuki Mehran ya Alto rakho, inn ki Drive bhi buhut zabardast hai tractor ki tara aur ye apney parts 100,000 kms tak araam se chala leti hain, wah re ustaad wah.

No need to change its throttle body, ask your Professional mechanic check for any vacuum / air pipe leaks.

If its not the problem then simply try resetting your car's ECU:

ecu reset please

Its simple and easy.

The third step is to go to the Dealership and spend some money because its not a Mehran.

i gave 4.5K to the dealership and they reprogram my ECU and the car is back to life...

actually this car is really gud in its price..the road grip,breaking,a/c,comfortability etc etc but once its gone bad this is the worst car...

issi liay i am fan of old cars, they don't have too much sensors. very easy to use and maintain.

Get it to the workshop of Chevorlet. They will have to readjust the ECU. You should never have opened and cleaned the throttle yourself. I got my GLi's throttle cleaned from the dealership and they readjusted the ECU.

I think you are right. this car will have to get on showroom in chevrolet. after than problem will be solved....

my car(chevrolet joy) met up an accident so we had take out the radiator for denting and look what we found :o

yes the two different coloured water...why was this? stuck thermo-valve?
the water from the coolant reservoir and upper pipes was green coloured and water from the radiator was full of rust brown coloured.. :o

and i had never used tap water in it, only coolant and distilled water is used every time

car is 07 registered and 60K on the odo

do not clean the map sensor with petrol or anything, you might damage the small diaphragm inside it. Its a GM (delco) sensor in this case and is very sensitive unlike the rugged (hathora) toyota map sensors. Best would be to replace it if bad - daewoo racers also face this problem a lot.

The coolant part is funny, flush the system out and refill with only "caltex red", do not under any circumstances overfill the expansion bottle otherwise coolant may stall in the system, it travels upwards a lot in this car - so please keep it in check. Never should it go above the max mark when cold.
