• Fuel Injector: When you open the hood you will find 3 set of injectors on your top left side just behind engine head with 1 cable connecting to each injector. check cable connections and injector cleaning both.
  But the person who changed fuel pump has definitely checked the injectors as well because it is a common practice.
  Unfortunately I don't have any pic and chevi right now to share. you can google for pic.

• CDI : Yes of course there are chances that scanner wouldn't able to identify. Scanning an old chevi does not mean that it will troubleshoot each and every problem. Some wiring alterations. are beyond the reach of scanner.

I asked you is this problem happening only on petrol or petrol+CNG both??

Good to know about your positive experience of visiting Shahzad, Yes seriously I haven't even seen a mechanic like him yet. He really put hard efforts to resolve your matter and demand very low charges as compare to other electricians/mechanics of the twin cities.

Even he once visited me at my location to check some default wiring setting in my car as he was having issues in diagnosing some problem due to bad wiring of another chevy. Amazing man.

I just talked to him and he's saying that the issue was in map sensor i guess (if i didn't misinterpret him). He'd i think suggested you to get new sensor and then to visit him again if the problem still exist.

i will be visiting to buy map sensor this weekend, because aziz auto store didnt had the genuine map sensor and said will be bringing it in some time
they just had Chinese n were not providing guarantee, so didnt want to risk another 2k just for trying out

already wasted over 20k on the same issue, will give a try on shahzad recommendation but waiting for the genuine part

for buying genuine part, I'll highly recommend buying from Sebastian Karachi rather than buying anywhere locally. You can just place your order on call and deposit the due amount in their account, you'll get your product delivered at your doorstep on the very next day. Hey @amehkari, welcome to this thread. Nope there's not any chevy specific workshop near DHA Phase 2, I'll highly suggest you to visit Yasir and Shamim near Peerwadhai Mor. contact details are mentioned in the post. I've seen people visiting him from areas much more far than DHA. I'll suggest you to avoid local mechanics as they badly mess up with this beautiful gem.

Aoa. Is your problem solved? I had the same problem. It turned out to be a faulty optical sensor inside the distributor. I purchased a kabli distributor from ahata mithu khan for 3000 and removed the sensor from it. They were selling the sensor alone for 1000 so i thought its a better bargain to buy the whole distributor instead.

Yes I'd visited Yousad Ustad at chah sultan, he is no doubt a humble and experienced mechanic but I'll never recommend him to chevy owners due to following reasons:

• He don't work himself since he is ustaad now and have hired some chotay who do the work. I am not satisfied with these typical Chotay.
• They have a basic spare parts shop as well adjacent to their workshop and they do try managing everything from their shop until the last possibility.
• I'd some oil leakage issue, I visited him 3-4 times, other than just 1 time, he charged me for my every visit. We all know that chevy has its own spare parts/seals and local parts of other cars don't really work with it but rather than using chevy original seals, they tried managing the seals from their own shop which didn't work for me. Unfortunately after wasting lot of money, I'm still having that issue.
• You may need to get appointment from him in advance before visiting him.
• Yousaf ustaad is usually unreachable after and before office hours. At least i experienced it multiple times.

@bilalahm please for God sake, don't recommend Yousaf ustad to any chevy owner again.
